MKV and SFV file problems

Well, you have two options. You can either get a single player that I have found which plays mkv (Matroska) and many other files known as VLC Player or you can get a pack that you can install that will let you play mkv files plus it includes a lot of the major codecs that are essential for playback which you can get here (I'm guessing you have Windows as an OS, if you don't, go with VLC Player, because I'm to lazy to give you the other link for other OS's ). Each one offers different things, it depends on which one you want. Also, I don't belive sfv files are any sort of video file. They must be some kind of support file for the mkv file. Hope I could help.

I think this can play MKV files, not too sure.
null The Core Media Player
Has a neat feature where you can play the video on your desktop.
