stos..i just stumbled on this post...
Thanks SO much for your help and knowledge on this matter
I got my d/l rate from around 5-10 to 30 after port forwarding
But..I dont think I have a static IP so I'll have to do this every time I restart my comp [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
I'd set one up...but I heard every computer on the network must have a static IP if one does...my roomate has a mac...and I dont want to fuck with it

Actually to tell the truth Agrippa, you really don't have to have a static ip address. When I port forwarded, I didn't make one and it worked just fine. Just make sure that your router is configured to use the dynamic ip address and you should be fine. Glad I could help.
