Do you use a router? Also, what client are you using for BT? I use Azureus, and had some disconnection problems in the past. When I updated my firmware for the router, the problem mostly disappeared. Also, reducing the number of people connecting to you might help.

yes, i linksys router. and im not sure what BT im usin, but i got this when i pressed About: BitTorrent 3.2.1b CVS (experimental) and it says somethin about Python version 2.2.2. heres the link to the site i got it from, http://ei.kefro.st/projects/btclient/ . but i havent had any probs since this mornin when i rebooted, and bt has been runnin from like 9am-10pm. so i think that turnin off aim helped it. thnx for the input

np. If anything, I think reducing the number of people connecting to you would help. Sometimes having too many people connected will overburden your router and cause it to disconnect.

    RE: Losing connection

Go to the Linksys website. Here is the link to their download site:

    http://www.linksys.com/download/

Choose your router model and which operating system you use, and download the firmware/drivers as necessary.

Firmware and drivers update your hardware to fix bugs or to make it more compatible with other hardware. After you download it, just install it. If there are directions on the website, you should follow those directions.

Sorry to hear about that. I think the best course of action right now would be to ask the tech support people at Linksys. They maybe able to help, or if you have a problem, their warranty might cover it or what not. Here's another link:

    http://www.linksys.com/support/TechSupport.asp

Try their LinkChat if you can access that. Otherwise, try the Product Pages to see if you can find information on it. Sorry about all this trouble.
