Dream Team

Im pretty sure this has been posted before, but the 'Search' button didnt come up with anything. so....

What would your dream team be, if you cold choose from all of the genin (including the ones from other villages).

I reckon the best would be

Sasuke
Neji
Gaara

I realise that there would be way to much ego in this team for them to actually do anything apart from argue about who is the best, and all their troubles in life.

But, in terms of defence and attack, in both Ninjutsu and Taijutsu they would be pretty much untouchable.

What about Naruto??? He beat Neji and Gaara in the Chuunin exam and has been training with Jiraiya (one of the three legendary ninjas) ever since then. You can't leave Naruto off this list.

My team would be Naruto, Neji, and Gaara.

Sasuke may end up beating Naruto in the upcomming manga, but if he does, it will be because Naruto doesn't use his full power against his friend. The times Naruto has been most impressive has been when he is defending Sasuke and Sakura or trying to get revenge for what he thought was Sasuke's death.

Shikamaru is over-rated. He is the smartest, but he was still getting beat by that sound broad. He is so weak. I think Shikamaru has topped out at Chuunin. There is no way he will become a Jounin. His 3 techniques will not be enough against stronger opponents.

Your Gaara, Naruto, Shikamaru team would be strong, but I would way rather have Neji. His Byakugan is so powerful. Even Hinata used it super effectively in the forest part of the Chuunin selection exam.

Reminder, lol practically everyone only has about 3 techniques. He's the smartest, which for a group is very essential.

i dont want neji because all he got is the byakugan and he is a close range fighter with the gentle fist style. shikamaru is much better, he can a) plan out what to do b) he is a sneaky son of s bitch with his shadow jutsus. c) gaara can scout enough with his thrid eye jutsu. d) the close range fighting is taken care of by naruto. so the only thing neji would give is better vision to the team nothing else. e) shikamaru is a good leader. neji, gaara, naruto would have a huge problem with leader(assuming a jounin sensei isnt helping them out.).
so everything is taken care of in this team nothing is left out. in other words its balanced. if you exchancge shikamaru for neji the team would be very unbalanced.

and for shikamaru not reaching jounin i think thats very unlikely he got skill but he is very lazy. so if he does some more training which im positive he will since a number of females have outdone him many times now(something he doesnt like by the looks of him when they do).

How about Sakura, Ino, and Random Sasuke Fangirl. They would be the 'SASUKE-KUN!!!! DREAM TEAM' or perhaps 'SASUKES ANGELS' or something else that is really corny. They would also fall into the category of most annoying team EVER.

On a serious note, how about Shikamaru, Shino, Temari. (I know there are stronger characters, but they aren't all that good at teamwork). Shikamaru for strategy and imobilizing the enemy. Shino can handle medium to close range opponents. Temari would be the powerhouse/long range fighter.

i still like my team better. naruto for close range, shikamaru for strategy and imoblizing enemy(just as hope said) and gaara for mid and long range fighting. i believe this is the best team since naruto listens to shikamaru and gaara got some kind of respcet for naruto because he beat him and taught him that your friends are the most important thing.

Naruto could use his shadow clones to distract them, and maybe do some fighting
Lee could use his speed and come up behind them and kick them, and while the enemy is flying Gaara could crush them with his sand

what if that plan backfires and the enemy moves around gaara, lee is getting beaten and naruto is the one flying? then you would need someone to think up a diffrent strategy therefore you change lee for shikamaru and you got the dream team.

Lee is smart(from what hes done so far except for losing) his speed more than makes up for the kind of brains Shikamaru has

nope nope, what if they face someone like kimimaro, if shikamarus brain does the work there they would be able to win but not without him(both lee and kimi would be healthy of course.)
