Last phew downloads have been bad

Hi I have noticed the past phew weeks, i've been either receiveing corrupt downloads, or something is wrong with my codecs. I'm not sure that it would be my codecs because i can still veiw my old downloads just fine. The ones i've noticed have been Naruto 83 and up, and then Gatz 2 and up, the images start off green then are show the image for a second and then don't transtion when the image does, it just seems to overlay each other with all sorts of pixel problems, if anybody knows why this is happening or how to fix it please let me know, and yes i've tried to redownload them and i get the exact same results.

Try updating your codec. http://www.xvid.org/downloads.html I think they used this codec, however i'm not sure. Try it and see what happens.
