    This are usually .ogm files so i'm guessing you have the hide extensions hidden and in the file type it says ogg when in reality it is an ogm...

    ogg has something to do with sound, it is not the container...

    there is a thread talking ogm around here somewhere... read that

    Well, if the above poster is right then I'd suggest Videolan as the player. It runs OGMs perfectly. I've never dealt with oog though, so I'm just basing this on what the guy above said.

    *edit* after reading the guy belows link, it verifies that oogs and ogms are one in the same. Videolan is what I prefer, but if you prefer windows media player, then his link below tells you how to work that.

    To answer your question, which in fact has been answered numerous times on the forums, look at my post at the bottom of this thread. Just download all the codecs that I have there and you should be fine. Hope I could help.
