Linguistics. I hated that class. It was god awful. I hate the entire subject, even though it's a pretty useful thing to know

Just got done with my finals a couple of weeks ago. Of course since I'm a masochist, I'm studying chem over the summer as a side project. Took the class already but I remember jack diddly from it, and I'm going to need it for a great deal of other classes too.

i dont know many translations of subject names too english, but i hated the cultural art class the most. where you have to visit a few museums for and wright a report about it ect. at the end of the 4th year i still had to do like 3 assignments-_-* though there is one thing good about it: i made my first AMV as an assignment for that class[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
and when i used to use the forum for "conversating" they told me to go to the IRC chat channel...
well, at least you got to make an AMV for an assignment, that is a good thing

mechanics of maths is the hardest followed by pure physics. both should be the easiest as they are pretty much the only two subjects that DONT cover opinion and everything you write is almost 100% fact.persoanally i liked linguisitcs because it explains real life things, i love being able to tell young fathers that there kid ISNT actually saying da-da at all, shatters there dreams it does!

I took AP computer science in highschool.....for like 2 days... dropped it real quick..didn't like that class at all
I just finished AP computer science - I Loved it - but then again, I'm just weird like that. I think the class i hate the most is American government - mostly because of my teacher - and because its a re-hashing of all of the propaganda that they feed you for 13 years in school . . . oops . . did I say that in my out loud voice?
Yeah it does most of the time...Java isn't so bad (though I'm only 1 year through the course yet...) except for psuedo-code and planning (ie the stuff no-one pays attention to). thankfully the british education system works so that over time in highschool you can drop more and more subjects so you can go into a more constricted field. but i still had to take english up until last year, goddamn that subject sucks. it included both literature aswell as interpreting passages of text. such a stupid subject. ohwell i got an A anyway
the british system isnt the only one that has fewer general ed classes the farther you go
and whats wrong with math? courses that emphasize logic are much better than courses that emphasize memorization

hmm.. math could be quite hard to understand.. even though i m good at maht now.. i was bad at math in korea.. so i understand why ppl hate math.. ppl tends to hate stuff they are not good at
