Need help uploading files on ftp...
I'm trying to use ftp to upload a file to a person so that they can host it on an irc channel. That way i can share a program on how to learn japanes to people, because it is hard to find and I would like to share. so far i have been sending it via AIM (aol instant messenger) but i'm not always at my pooter. This way whoever wants the program can just gon on irc and dl whenever they wanted and would probably be faster hopefully. I have ftp leech client but would be willing to dl another client if that would make it easier to explain to me what i need to do in order to upload the file. Whoever can porvide help it would be extremely appreciated. IF you would like to explain to me on AIM through instant message that would be great. my nick is the same foomanchew24 i'm on during the day time. If not just post in the forum i appreciate it however i can get it

RE: Need help uploading files on ftp...
that's ..... good ......
I think you neglected to tell us an important part of your story though: what is the problem?
is your ftp client not working properly? Is the ftp server giving you strange errors? Is the server configured properly? Are you behind a router or firewall? Is the other person behind a router or firewall? What ftp client are you using? Have you discussed your problems with the person who's going to be hosting your file? Are you just asking for someone to host your file?
