She is VERY good at everything other than fighting, doing any jutsu what so ever, and keeping her hormones in check. So she is a worthless ninja.
She just hasn't been given a chance to shine. She's had virtually no teaching, and the little teaching she's had (climbing the tree) she excelled in. I'd estimate that if she had some proper vigorous training in some powerful techniques she'd do quite well. She just needs some tutoring.

I doubt Sakura has that much chakra, and CmDr_RavEn, you are pretty much saying it's because she didn't have any teaching, well, that is true to some extent but that's HER fault, unlike Naruto and Sasuke who WANT to train and get stronger and, especially with Naruto, nag to someone to teach them, she dosen't. So that's her fault she's weak. She has no motivation, and wastes time. And with how weak she is and if she actually some day realizes she should be training like everyone else, doubt she would amount to that much
There's really nobody to teach her anyway, even if she did nag. Kakashi is busy with Sasuke, and Jiraiya has gone off with Naruto. I guess she could get Ebisu if she tried hard enough, but he's usually only for future hokage candidates.Originally posted by: ShinobiNeko

If only Sakura had some sort of parental figure that could train her. I mean, we know she has a mother, but it would be good if she had some famous ninja father who could show her a thing or two.

-_- Point is if Sakura really wanted to be trained then she would and, she could train herself, there are many other characters that you see training themselves, mostly the ones training with the teachers are leaning new techniques, or at least most of the time, but you see Hinata training by herself, also Rock Lee, Sasuke, Naruto etc. -_- the easiest thing a person could do is train themselves, all they have to do is rather do chakra focus training, punch or throw shuriken at logs...point is she dosen't
Most of the others have had some form of encouragement though, where as she's had none. I still think it's not all her fault, nobody has even tried with her. All the others have had at least some form of guidance.

She could ask for guidance, what has she even done to move herself foreward? It takes self motivation first, no surprise someone didn't just walk up to her and offer because she dosen't even make it seem like she is interested. And way back she had decided she wanted to get stronger to protect Sasuke and Naruto but what did she do with that? Nothing...she's the only one who dosen't follow her determination...it is her fault, if she wanted to be a good ninja she could. And besides, quite frankly I dont' think she's really cut out to be a ninja, why? Well when Rock Lee was training himself so hard with pushups at the hospital, what did she say? "Why do those guys train so hard?" (also referring to Sasuke) .. duh, anyone who wants to be a good ninja would trian themselves, and push themselves..if she can't even realize that... -_-
You know, you dont know if Sakura is progressing at all. They dont focus on her enough to let us know (Offer an animal sacrifice to god to thank him for this one) . She might be better than we think, its just they always seem to be fighting enemies way above her level because she is behind Naruto and Sasuke. She did learn Kai, and kakashi said he taught her genjutsu and we never saw her learn anything. We dont know what else she knows and what else she has been doing.
You all seem to forget that she was able to dispell the illusionary technique that put everyone (including Naruto) to sleep.
I predict that Sakura is going to play a major role as this thing progresses.

I'm guessing they talk Tsunade into coming back to Konoha. And Sakura will seek guidance from another female ninja, one who is obviously great. Maybe Tsunade will teach her cause she wants to see more females succeed. Still, if it happens it's pretty far in the future considering Tsunade won't even be introduced til next week.
I've been pretty disappointed in Sakura so far. It's weird how the female genins just seem much less mature than the guys. While Sasuke and Naruto were training for the chunin exam it seemed like Sakura was just hanging out at flower shops or something.
However, she did seem pretty inspired by everyone at the chunin exam. I'm hoping that in this next story arc she'll grow up some.
Oh, and I really hope she doesn't end up as a teacher or a healer. It SUCKS that the girls always end up as teachers or healers. I hope she does something FUN, and kick lots of ass. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]
my theory is that sakura will turn to naruto for love after she realizes that sasuke never liked her after sasuke yells at her for believing in him too much because sasuke cant beat itachi....think of sasuke as garra he bevieves in himself after his dreams are crushed...and think of sakura as the annoying girl that will never find love but will eventually relieve narutos dreams
Yeah, I think Sakura's gonna be pretty strong. Probably never be the frontline fighter, but I can see her being the kind of character that could make the difference in a fight mainly because I think she's going to be awesome at genjutsu. For some reason I get the "total darkness" genjutsu in mind whenever I think about how Sakura is going to progress. She's going to kick ass. I would like to like her if she does by the way, but that'll only happen if she gets the fuck off of Sasuke's nuts, and stays off.

Oh hell no! If that happens I'll hate both her AND Naruto. I just don't see a relationship between Sakura and Naruto working. And if the creators of Naruto have the nerve to make me sit through it (I'll have no choice, it's Naruto) I'll have to take a little trip to japan with a wooden baseball bat wrapped in barbed and nails, and set on fire...
