interscope has a monopoly on the game right now big time. olivia has her album coming out next, and she is actually good, unlike ashanti.

Guerilla Black, I believe that guy's name was. He seriously did sound like Biggie. I put the radio one morning and believed there had been a B.I.G. track I never heard of. .. It didn't take long before I recalled that gimp was out. I never listened to his flow, so I do not know how bad he is. Just the sound of his flow turned me off.Originally posted by: Kardiva
never heard of either, so i cant comment. other than that i dont think anyone can be tupac again. he'll prob end up like that guy who sounded like biggie. just a one hit wonder. i forget that guys name though
i listened to that kanye song though. wasnt liking it at first but the more i hear it the better it sounds. but that guy newz cant rap for shit
G-Unit and MOP? Nice. Granted, 50's got tons of haters .. and after his album, he doesn't have much right to think he's the king of anything .. that would be nice fit for the both of 'em. Hopefully all those things fall through for those groups. I just keep thinking of the Ante Up (Remix) without Remy Martin (Ugh!) and the other dude I can't recall (not Busta .. he stays), and Lloyd Banks and The Game in their place. Hot Dylan Fire!
the massacre is starting to grow on me, granted there are some seriously wack tracks on it, but there are also some real good songs.
cassidy is wanted for murdering a 22 yr old man in philadelphia.
what a dumbass.
wtf mob deep and mop gonna sign up with 50 ah man that sucks big time i hope that there music isn't gonna change
has anyone heard missy's new cd yet? you can find the torrent on torrentspy if you want to download it.
I hate Cassidy and his song "B-boy Stance" because I'm a B-boy and he seriously gives the wrong message to all the kids out there who doesn't know what B-boying is. He mixes b-boys with guns, now isn't that just wrong. B-boys aren't all "gangster" most of them aren't at all. Also, who needs a gun when you can just battle?
what are you talking about where does he mix b-boy with guns? throughout the whole video he is showing breakdancers, i didnt think it seemed very gangsta at all.
i like old school listening to N-W-A, cash money, ghost face
I guess you miss the part where he flashes his gun while doing the c-walk which is not bboying and says "Chillin in the club in my bboy stance, my hoody on and my gun in my pants." That's the chorus btw, so I don't know how you missed it.Originally posted by: SK

true. but i dont think he was really trying to mix breakdancers with gangsters.
edit: btw i missed it because ive only heard the edited version, im not a cassidy fan.
Oh I see, I'm not a Cassidy fan either. I just heard the song on a radio then watched the video online and then hated it.Originally posted by: SK

edit: i found this awesome free online radio station. theyve been playing everything since ive been listening except crap, jedi mind tricks, big l, stat quo, mos def, missy etc.

Late as hell, but no reason for this topic to die, since Hip-Hop never will. Although, it does seem to be in a stint, as of late ..
Common's Be is tight. I love the track with him and Kanye, who's album dropped or is going to, which I cannot wait for, "The Food." But, you're right SK. It's a great album. I purchased as well. Always got to support the true artists, which he's never failed to be.
I've actually been listening to a few tracks off of Cassidy's album. He's returned to those initial, underground roots when he was freestyle flowin' and battle rappin', which is what got me caught on his hype a bit. His initial album was a sore disappointment from that, but this one is much better. "6 Minutes," with Wayne and Fabolous is ridiculous. The beat made me throw up, it's so sick. Download the album. Give it a listen.
Album of common is 2 freaking cool i loved the intro of the album, oyeah about that cassidy song it isn't very annoying just don't listen to the lines en jou will be fine ( hey that rhymes )
ps: i was on vacantion that's why iam posting now
Funnily enough, Dick .. It's Cassidy's song, and I cannot stand him on it.
The beat is insane, and I dislike Wayne a lot; his verse is decent. Fabolous is ridiculous. But, Christ .. Cassidy annoys the hell out of me on it. He ends every bar for about the first sixteen or so with "y'all" which hit a reminiscent nerve of Juvenile's first single way back in the day, as well as Cassidy's song for the ladies, where he ended every line with a grunt and "ma," respectively.
Bloody flippin' annoying.
Great beat. Good two verses. Knix Cassidy .. off his own song.
On another note, I've found myself listening to God's Son as of late. Nas' album for those who may have been wondering whose that was. Between Nas and Common, I've been peachy.
iam not sure wich song you man but i mean bboystance :S, i don't know other songs of cassidy and i don't wanna know
Right now I'm really liking Saigon, he is supposed to have an album dropping in September. He is very versatile and can rap about a ton of different issues. He is a nice freestyler too, he was in Boston and was freestyling on one of the hip hop stations here, he is beefing with Cassidy right now and he said something like "asking me if I'm better than Cassidy is like asking Jadakiss if he's better than Master P"
I downloaded Cassidy's album and I was very surprised, it was pretty good, especially the 1st track where he battles and disses himself. He has another track about the black power movement, I really like it because toward the end of the song he has a really good 2Pac speech, it's just a powerful song. I'd give the album I'm a Hustla a listen if you haven't already.
Kanye has leaked a few songs, and the full album is supposed to leak soon. We Major, Kanye with Nas, the beat is crazy. There is the 'Dear Mama' song, Hey Mama also with a very different beat from the norm. Touch the Sky is another good one.

Late Registration dropped a while ago.
Where the Hip Hop heads at with their reviews?
Anyone even bother with Yayo? (insert stifling laughter)
I have two words for anyone here interested in the latest nastiest motherfucking rapper out there:
YOUNG JEEZY
This guy dropped a hit with Boyz n' the Hood (not the old group) called "Dem' Boys" and ON THE SAME DAY switched over to a different record label and dropped his own solo album, thats right, a whole album, and took some of Boyz n' the Hood's best talent over to his new label with him. Consequently he had the #1 and #2 highest selling Rap records at the same time, with different labels. His album features alot of well-known rappers. Deff worth checking on.
Humans are different from animals. We must die for a reason. Now is the time for us to regulate ourselves and reclaim our dignity. The one who holds endless potential and displays his strength and kindness to the world. Only mankind has God, a power that allows us to go above and beyond what we are now, a God that we call "possibility".
