    HIP HOP!!!

A shame I missed the Mut & SK debate / argument. Would have enjoyed tossing my short change into the midst of that one. I won't bother breathing life into it, though.

Gatman & Robbin'. The beat is humorous, as it follows that classic television show, which cannot be hated on. Classic. And, Em's flow alone on it is sickeningly ridiculous. Can't knock Eminem .. too much. Just a shame his rhymes on everyone's guest tracks outshined his tracks on Encore. Ah well.

Last thing, just because the comment alone made me literally laugh out loud ..

SK: You're never allowed to like anything more than Mut because he's four years older than you. He's liked it first, since you weren't born yet, making his affinity towards it that much more greater than yours.

    .. Right.

Shut up, smartass. That's not even what I meant so don't bring up a dead issue.

    You're retarded. Kill yourself.

My comment was the last addition to my post, and the only thing I was addressing in regards to your dead issue. You request the elimination of assumptions, only to follow up with one of your own with a statement that I allegedly incorrectly perceived. Comedy. But, what do I know? I've only got 200 posts.

    Moving right along. Shall we?

    Joe Budden - Gangsta Party

First track of his I've heard in a long time, and I am sorely disappointed. I do not know how large of a fan following the guy's had / has, but I was thoroughly liking his first album. If this single, which I hope isn't an attempt at a club banger, is an indication of what's to come .. I'm not looking forward to it. Even though, that isn't fair as most singles are simply done to be played on the radio and get them air time. Still .. it isn't an excuse to make a deplorable song.

im not to sure about that joe budden song, i was never really feeling him much. oh i'll try to send those technique songs strider, once i get some time. its such a large file

Pft, don't feel for a second like you have to rush or drop anything to get that time to send those songs over to me. You're the one doing me the favor. Whenever you get to it, it'll be appreciated.

But, I liked his first album. His flow was different, and a lot of his rhymes were fairly deep with a lot more context between the lines. Give "Joe Budden - 10 Mins" a download, if you can. I think that's one of his better tracks. If you do give it a chance and listen to it, be sure to let me know what you think.

Anyone get the new Memphis Bleek cd, 534? Its got some great songs on it. Track 4 (titled Like That) is probably my favorite. Its got a great beat to it.
This fantastic Sousuke sig was made by the one and only Lucifus! Thanks man!

I was liking "Infatuated." I believe it's the track right after the song you like, NarutoMaster.

I have not given the entire album a listen, and actually skipped over the first couple to listen to "Dear Summer." I wanted to see what the hype was all about, and let it play up until about Track 06 or Track 07. I'll most likely post my full thoughts on it tomorrow, once I've given it a thorough listen.

Are there even any big albums coming up in the near future, that people are waiting on? It's hard to keep up down here, even though I do have the internet at the tip of my fingers as a source of information, but I just haven't had that chance to see a list of future releases to see if there are any crazy, highly anticipated ones.

I'd like to see a future Eightball & MJG CD soon. Living Legends was the shit. I do not even care too much for down south music, but their flow and beats (production from P. Diddy) was tight. I think those who don't find themselves listening to too much southern music will find themselves bumping the CD.

EDIT: some interesting news for the hip hoppers here

G-Unit to sign M.O.P and Mobb Deep???
    Wednesday - May 25, 2005
    Verbal Walker

50 Cent may be the most hated man in hip-hop amongst other rhymespitters but he obviously must be doing something right. Not only has he sold millions of records, but now the rapper is courting two of the most highly touted groups in hip-hop- Mobb Deep and M.O.P.

At first this just seemed like another round of rumors that had absolutely no merit but now 50 has told MTV that he is very close to signing both groups.

"I'm ready to expand and do other things," he explained. "Creatively, there are certain artists out there I respect. I've been listening to their music for a long time. I wanna work with them. I want to be able to put my full effort into it, but I can't work for it unless it's in both of our best interests, and that's with them being signed to G-Unit as a record company. It'll be serious. We've got a chance to go do some exciting things."

Many of you may think that 50 must be full of it but surprisingly Havoc of Mobb Deep seconds the notion&

"We've been talking to 50 for a minute, maybe a month," he said. "Initially we were gonna sign to Interscope. After a while we saw it best [to sign] with 50 because of the style of music [we do]. We sat down with 50 and he let us know what he could do for us. We're satisfied with the move. I don't know how other people are gonna feel about the move. It's probably gonna be a lot of hate in people's blood, but we don't give a f---. We're gonna continue making our music. I feel we have a bigger platform. I can't wait. The adrenaline is pumping. I just wanna get it started."

Laze E. Laze, who assists in guiding M.O.P.s career decisions, confirmed that the group is indeed talking to 50 but hasnt elaborated beyond that.

now thats something interesting. i think MOP will fit in with 50 before mobb deep does. i think both groups just want to get some more play and find another creative outlet. i think thats kinda what busta did, when things really werent going his way he went over to dre.
