did anyone watch the grammys, i thought hiphop was totally fucked in that award show, what was up with giving best new artist to maroon 5 who werent even up for best album, over kanye west who was up for best rap album AND album of the year, and why did they show all that boring country music shit, as if those redneck motherfuckers even watch the grammys. and lets face it, if ray charles hadnt died he wouldent have gotten all the grammys he was awarded, not tryin to hate on ray, but cmon...

yeah i agree a lot of hip hop today is garbage, its jus a lot of commercial shit and people in the suburbs dont know real hip hop and keep buyin it and supportin these fake ass rappers. the big companies see this and will keep pullin out garbage guys like lil flip, one of his lines is "ill treat you like milk, ill do nuttin but spoil you"

DMX? Are you kidding? I am a pretty big DMX fan I think he sucked more every time he released an album. It's Dark and Hell is Hot is one of my favorite albums. DMX's second album was also good. But after that, it just started sucking.

Rap was at its best from mid 90's to late 90's. That was the epitome of rap.

i don't know people hate eminem so much, he is a good lyracist i like him, mainly his old stuff and unrealesed stuff, his new stuff aint nothing really, some good songs here there, but he usually does good featurings.

but the best rapper of all time for me is Notorious B.I.G, i think he's awesome, his voice, lyrics, beats, everything.
