R.I.P Captain America.
i dont get some of you guys, first you base your argument on the fact that the rules say if you get a question wrong you lose a point, when confronted wiht the truth that if you DO NOT answer it it doesnt count as an answer you either choose to ignore it, OR refer to the 'its common sense' answer which in a fantasy setting is TOTALLY null and void. we cna only base our understanding on what they say.
What are you saying now? Naruto didnt answer any questions so your 1 answer=pass doesnt even matter.Originally posted by: chambers
no CoA i dont think my initial gues was right, iam unlike these other people here, iam not an advocate of disbelieving something that is stated in black and white. i relaise that it was wrong to say he would have passed, however iam now arguing that not answering a question DOES NOT take a point off you, so in theory according to the rules you could answer ONE question only and still pass.
*yawn*
i never said it did, what iam saying is that IF someone did that they would pass. where as some people seem to think they woudl fail.
Oh, well then your right about that.
But it doesnt matter anyway.
chambers you are the dumbest person ever, do you still actually believe you are right? or are you trying to get everyone annoyed? think about it, try to use some common sense, if you are taking a test that says every incorrect answer results in a -5, and you leave every question blank, that that will result in a perfect score?

Rule 2 states that if u answer a question incorrectly, you lose a point, but rule 4 also states that if you do not answer a single question correctly, you fail, making it impossible for Naruto to pass unless he has at least one answer writtin down thats freakin correct. Get yer facts straight
Chambers, tell me this, was special ed fun for you? Because anyone who was in a normal class would know that if you fail to answer a question, it's marked incorrect. By your logic, as I believe someone said earlier, you could score a 1600 on the S.A.T. by answering nothing, including not even writing your name, because you never know if you might mess that up, and by you, I don't mean the general public, I mean you, with the username Chambers, because only you could be that stupid, point in case, Naruto would have failed if not for the last question, because not only did he answer nothing, he couldn't even gather information.
Wow. a thread about naruto's Brain lasted 4 pages?

Naruto is a bumbling idiot of a ninja, I am surprised he has remained alive so far.
I think his character is made like this for comedic effect which on occasion works.
He absolutely is not booksmart and is quite unorthodox, he does have a strong will
and it seems that he does learn things as time goes on, so experience is his biggest
educator.
my $0.02
I believe i speak for everybody when i say LOCK THIS SHIT ALREADY
the topic at hand has been resolved, Repeatedly...
This Thread has nowhere good left to go
When man invented the bicycle he reached the peak of his attainments. Here was a machine of precision and balance for the convenience of man. And (unlike subsequent inventions for man's convenience) the more he used it, the fitter his body became. Here, for once, was a product of man's brain that was entirely beneficial to those who used it, and of no harm or irritation to others. Progress should have stopped when man invented the bicycle. ~Elizabeth West, Hovel in theHills
Not needed but the conversation is over.
yeah, what they said.
Can some one sum this up in a paragraph and lock it? cuz that would be great.

this is too funny...
chambers... i'm sure if we started a thread on your brain, it would be even longer (20 pages?). But then again, after reading this thread, I can't be sure. I am only ASSUMING THE FACT THAT THE LONGER THE THREAD, THE SMALLER BRAIN WE ARE DISCUSSING
no offense... please refute my argument if u disagree
All righty... heres the play by play
Arguement is made that Naruto could have potentially had a perfect score on the chunnin exams b/c the ANIME only explicitly said that you lose a pt for a wrong answer and you start w/ 10 pts.
--- This lead to the belief that leaving a problem blank will in fact give a perfect score.
--- also lead to the arguement that Naruto is a genius.
------ this pt is refuted based on the fact that Naruto does not quite have the cognitive ability to make such a broad jump in logic, and it is seen that Naruto is HELLA stressed out showing that he did not make the connection (for himself) that no questions answered is a perfect score... although based on the Anime it is a possibility.
Many people respond saying the theory is wack but offer no proof, the theory originator is adamant that he is Right, on the basis that he is right.
Many flames are had
Eventually the Manga is quoted as showing that a blank test is a failure.
End of arguement... Naruto is not a genius but based on what is seen in the Manga
