    Azureus BT client

I've downloaded the Azureus Client becuase i've heard it allows to download single files from Batch torrents, which is valuable to HDD space limited guys like myself..

so anyway, i'm trying to download a batch file, and it says i don't have enough free space, so i'm trying to seperate the download into 700 MB downloads, so i'll be able to get some files, watch them and burn them quickly, and then continue, but i have no idea how it's done and i can't find a decent FAQ to explain it...

so can someone teach me how to seperate the download? meaning, how to force the client to download only some files of the entire batch?

UPDATE\EDIT: well, i've understood how to make the client ignore some files, but since it still requires me to allocate the files, i'm still in the same state, I have to first make all the needed space, and then it allocates the files and downloads them. but i can't delete the unesscery files, making the whole hassle worthless, since i'm stuck with wasting 3 GB of my HDD just to be able to download 1.5GB, and the other 1.5 GB is completly useless... frankly, i could have just copied the files to my computer and use my old BT client to continue the download, it would make no diffrence.
so my new question is, how can i stop the allocating and save the space?

edit #2: jdub, you own! thanks for the help, man... now, i'm off to download gigabites of anime in a fashionally matter of 700 MB each time...

sig made by Itachi-y2k5, thanks, dude!
Currently Watching: probably a show directed at 9 years old girls, lets be honest.

You know the important distinction between Batman and me? Batman is fictional. In real life, there isn't always an alternative.

You need to have space for the entire batch of files because azureus(and all other BT programs since one of the latest releases of bittorrent) makes all of the files and allocates(word for takes up space) all the space needed for all the files before they start DLing. For example, say you open Naruto 82 to DL in a BT program, it will create a file called Naruto_82(or whatever) and the file will be say 172 megs big even though the file hasn't been downloaded yet.

Same for full batches, the entire file size will be allocated(ie for 10 eps, about 1.7-2.2 gigs) even before it has started to DL. So, from what i know, what you are trying to do is not possible, sorry. but ya know what, 40 gig HDD are only like 40 bucks Canadian(about 30 american) grab one and you won't have this problem

Hey don't listen to the idiot above, you can set Azureus to allocate filespace as you receive the file(s).

So it will, by default, set the files to 0 bytes until pieces are downloaded.

To set this in Azureus, all you need to do is go to View - > Configuration - > Files (don't expand it) and check "Enable incremental file creation"

Make sure "allocate and zero new files on creation" is NOT checked.
