It was more of an alternative band, not very metal if I recall, but if you were willing to stretch the definition of what metal is, then I gueeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssssss, you could call them metal. They were pretty good though. I wonder what he's up to nowadays, their myspace page is not kept. I'm thinking Terra might've killed himself. Terra's not dead yet. Junction Skies that was called SAI earlier split up. Terra is now in the band Overworld. Just a little FYI.

Ohhh, Good to know Terra is doing well.
Just found some stuff on youtube for Overworld, which is actually a proper metal band. They're looking for a vocalist so what they have posted are instrumental tracks. Here's one of them:
Not too shabby, and if that's Terra on drums, then he's improved *tremendously* both skill-wise and stylistically.
