Well, depends on which Yu-gi-oh! series you would like.

Information on Yu-gi-oh! (Japanese Version) can be found here.
The second and third Yu-gi-oh! series are pretty terrible in my opinion, but its your (or your friend's) choice. As you might have noticed, all that information was on the same site known as AniDB which gives information (including subbers, description, etc.) on a large amount of anime. For future reference, you might want to check this post which has that site and many more. Hope I could help.
