Neji, with his eyes closed and arms crossed, while Lee and Gai are doing their stuff, just before Lee's fight, is priceless.
Funniest bit is not what happens in Naruto, but what you can pull by coming up with stuff out of mid-air. I told my brother that Kishimoto said that the next Naruto movie would reveal the 4th was a sharingan user, and the look on his face was pure gold [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Hehe! I agree that it is one of the funniest scenes!
To me some of the funniest scenes involve Gai and Lee like:
1. When we first meet Gai, where him and Lee hug and cry together with the ocean backview!
2. When Lee learns the Lotus technique and is wobbling around all dazed and happy, and Gai is calling him and finally punches him, Lee then turns and says: "Please let me here your burning message!"
3. When Lee and Gai notice the gourd on Garaa's back and Lee starts taking notes to what Gai is saying!
Other things:
when Lee takes his weights off and drops them through the floor of the tournament grounds, we then see Kakashi say to himself "Is'nt that a bit much Gai?"
When Chouji gets called fatass by Zaku and he gets pissed and says "I'm not fat, I am big boned! Hooray for big boned people!"
When Lee gives blowing heart kisses to Sakura! hilarious!
When Sasuke is fighting Haku and he is hoping that Naruto will fight from the outside while he fights Haku from the inside, and the next thing he sees is Naruto right next to him! LMAO!
When Sasuke asks Naruto if he can tell him the advice Sakura had given him(Naruto) regarding chakra control, then Naruto grins and just coldly says No!
omG AGREED!! the 3 things u mentioned were pretty dammed hilarious. i like the 2nd one u mentioned more out of the other 2. about after learning lotus.
another one is when Rock lee outsmarted the machine in episode 48
My fav scenes had to be:
1) During the Survival Training when Naruto accuses his clones of being Kakashi because of the "old man smell"
2) Harem no Jitsu ('nuff said)
3)Sennen Goroshi (1000 years of pain) as done by Naruto. I mean, Kakashi did it funny the first time, but Naruto did it roflmao hilarious. Gaara sure didn't see that s@#% coming :-D
4)Whenever Gai has a sparkly moment
-or- mentions his rivalry with Kakashi, and Kakashi's just like "huh? did you say something?"
It was definetely in the first few episodes. when he had diaria and had to fight with his clones to get in to the bathroom.
Also how he punched himself during the first test while trying to hit kakashi. The the rest of the clones beat him and each other up because they were confused.
I think that my favorite line was Sakura's "Dangerous, way too dangerous" line, but I also laughed when they were about to start the written exam and Kakashi was thinking that even Naruto must be intimidated, and then Naruto starts yelling that he's going to beat everyone, and Kakashi is like 'doh.
Also, when they were leaving for the wave country after Naruto stabbed himself to get rid of the poison and Kakashi was looking at his wound so seriously, Naruto's expression was priceless.
And Kakashi's excuses for being late are always pretty good.

Not really a genuine moment, but S-O translation in episode 82 when gai arrives was funny. he refers to himself as "konaha's green sprouting flower of acceptance" hahaha.

And the part where Gai and Lee were discussing Gaara, and Gai shouts at Lee not to take notes! hahah
