    3. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ if you have any problems playing an episode, just use this player. it's the best imo.

Agree with VLC - it's been my 'everything else has failed and I need to watch this anime NOW' player for a while - it's never let me down.

Codecs can be a problem, make sure you grab a copy of GSpot from here: http://www.headbands.com/gspot/
It's a handy utility that can tell you which codec a file has been encoded using - then it's just a case of finding the latest version.
BTW - There's a new XVid codec release (v1 final) out

As for the client - I'm quite fond of Azureus - it's open source and Java (which makes it a lot more difficult to exploit) and there's a plugin which automatically updates a list of IP addresses which it will not accept connections to (RIAA etc).

    Azureus is available here: http://azureus.sourceforge.net/
Plugin for IP blocking here: http://azureus.sourceforge.net/plugi...lugin=safepeer

I use ffdshow. To me, it's the best, because I never had any problems with it
