here's a question...when the 3rd used 4th's jutsu (that sealing thing with the death god) on orochimaru, the death god takes both person's soul and eats it. Why is it different from how the 4th sealed the kyuubi? shouldnt the death god take the kyuubi's soul instead of going into naruto's body?
The Kyuubi has infinite chakra, so its really powerful(duh! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] ), but it also depends on the power of the user of the technique.The third couldnt completeky take Orochimaru. Just his arms.
He does raise a good point, why wasn't Kyuubi sealed in the Death God and Naruto instead?
Maybe as long as the user dies, he's allowed to do what he wants with the enemy.

maby that use naruto as some tipe of medame..... so like this ( the fox..>...baby naruto...>...and the 4th....) so in thought the 4t would have lost his soul.....but since the body cant live with out a soul and that the kyuubi was seald inside...... maby the kyuubi fought to keep naruto's soul..... there for leting the 4th die but give naruto his soul......
and the only reason that is was done that was becouse the kyuubi is WAY to strong to be cut by the knife or somthing like that.......
Maybe the physical form remains sealed within the body of the caster, while the spiritual form exists within the death god?

i thought it was explained that the opponents soul is sealed within the user (remember the deathgods arms comming out of sarutobi). I guess the user can choose to seal it within some other vessel as well, instead of himself.
Probably something to do with with teh whole demon thing. maybe it can't ever be destroyed, it can only be sealed.

no, sarutobi was attempting to seal orochimaru inside himself too remember, the weird symbol appeared on him too, and after sarutobi was taken by the death god...which brings me to another question, what if the 4th IS naruto? i mean, if the 4th tried sealing kyubi in himself like sarutobi did and succeeded, then wouldnt naruto be inside HIM? woah, my mind is boggling now.Originally posted by: Assassin
