I am confused! i have divix.. i have kazza... how do i get the files posted on the web to play on my computer?
What programs can i use?

any programs that are needed to dl these do i have to pay for them?

when i try to open the file the end says "filename.avi.torrent"
Torrent files are used by a peer-to-peer application called "Bitorrent". You need to have BT installed before you can download anime with torrent files.
You can d/l BT at http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/download.html
Once it's installed, you should be able to run torrent files, then it will ask you where to save the file you're downloading.

Which link do you click on for what? I assume you mean to start d/ling with a torrent file.
Well, for example, look at this page:

This is a list of gotwoot's torrents. If you want to d/l any of them, just click on the link, and if you have BT installed it should ask you where you want to save them.

k, i get as far as get the save menu.. is the bt program suposed to start up when i hit a link cause it isn't..
well, where would i save it?
like what player works for you? better yet waht type of file should it be?

As soon as you get to the save window, just select a drive or directory that you want the file to be downloaded to, and click Save or Start or whatever it is.
And as for which player to use, if you have both DivX and XviD installed, then just standard Windows Media Player should work.

BT doesn't start to save the file until you choose the directory first - you just choose your directory (it doesn't matter which, just go for the most convenient one for you - or create a new directory just for the file) and save it, and a small BT window will appear on the screen and will start downloading the file.Originally posted by: 1st_timer

I'll just make a quick point for later, if for any reason you have to turn the computer off or close the download window then you can come back to the site and click the link again and as long as you save the file to the same directory as you did the first time, the download will carry on from where it left off (so if you closed the download at say 46% - that is where it will start downloading again when you resume).
