they do this because it's a highly popular show in japan and want to stretch it out for the little kiddies to make more money

yeah the manga also has more violence they toned it down a lot and added those little cheerleader girls

Hopefully they start some new things. Ryoma isn't going to be playing Tezuka anytime soon, though I would love to seem him play his dad.
i would love to see some new matches and get as much story as this show can offer and that isnt alot. but its very very good anyway i want moooooore :'(

I just started to watch POT after a tip from a friend, im on eps 15 and i like it so far but i just hate the kids in this anime mostly Horio, Tomo and Sakuno are so annoying i hope when i get to the most recent ep that they will not be around.
Compared to Ippos friends in hajime no ippo,Takmura and co Horio and co in PO are lame....
