at ep 6, watch closely to the part where takumi closes his lights then rides next to tomo
then, once he turns his lights on and begins to turn into the corner - theres a gutter where takumi rides into, somewhat like the gutter at akina
youll see it, itll make the drop in sound if you listen carefully
its only a couple seconds long at around 18:20 of that episode
hmmm... yah... i did catch the move from akina when he turned off the headlights the second time... but its too hard to catch the "dud" sound when it was employed... but yea... cool observation tensai tensai~
i think his gutter skills has became one of his trademark moves. together with machinegun rev and "heel toe". he uses them in almost every single match... =)

i just saw the subbed version of episode 7, and i must say, takumi getting killed by that sti was crazy
altho he did redeem himself by schooling that s15 silva in itsuki's turbo levin...

I don't have 9+10, but I'm sure they've run raw by now. 11+12 should be really soon. It seems like some random, start-up subbers are starting in on them now, since there has been a bit of a lull on getting them subbed here as of recent.
eps 9 and 10 arent out until mid december
then the next two at feb, and the last two at april
