Naruto has the most stamina probably of all the characters and the most will. Those are probably two character traits that are important for containing the Kyubi. I'm not sure, but I think one of the characters said that the Kyubi chakra caused Naruto to suck at chakra control (maybe Jaraiya). He wastes a bunch of chakra, but because of his stamina, he can still become a good ninja. Sasuke, on the other hand...probably couldn't. Not sure about that one
actually i think naruto sucked controlling his chakra due to the bad perfomed seal of oro. .
