Very nice, though Grimmjow looks a little too happy.

Ehh... been away for a while. Kinda got burnt out in PS making sigs. I do that from time to time when I overuse a new technique and cant come up with anything new. But... I did recently do a photo manipulation for a friend.
I'd like to add some text to it... and I did a version with text on it, but I didnt like the way it came out. Too dark. Not to mention I've never really been good with text. Oh, and I'm aware that part of her skin appears really white... I kinda like the effect...
Anyways, here is a link to the original picture, so you can see what all I did. Any comments would be appreciated.
PS... great sigs as usual Luci.... and great sigs from everyone else as well.
It's dangerous to go alone. Take Nep.
Damn man, another "Make a GW member gay" picture?
Guess that means the PS did the job? It looks good.
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
whats this guy talkin about?
nice simple manip Al, i agree the text would be hard to pull off with this.
maybe do somethin else to the hand/bottom of the pic instead of blurring-smudging it like the rest of the bg. maybeee some trippy color overlays? it has good colors the way it is i just think that would make it a lot more eye catching.
I meant at first glance he looked like a chick.Originally Posted by Kagemane_no_Jutsu

It is a chick.
That's not me.
Her hair is short in that picture.
I'm sorry I'm not another Nado...
@Kage: Can you give me an example of "trippy overlays" and how exactly to pull this off? I'm not advanced enough to only be able to colour-change a small part of a pic.

idk im not pro but what i find to work is using some brushing of the base color you want, then smudging it around with some textured brushes, any default brush will do, then set the layer blending options to something that works like overlay or lighten. the hard part is keeping your brushing interesting and eye pleasing at the same time.
your manip inspired me to start one of my own, started off as one of those 'hey look at me' facebook editions... but having a terence mckenna lecture on in the background sent me into a slightly different direction :P
you might think its pretty ironic i'm smiling in a scene filled with serious matters... but in reality its not ironic at all, fuck this world... we failed our ancestors and now we should pay the ultimate price. good riddance.
yes my glasses were bent, got em fixed today ;D
and i decided not to upload it to my facebook, i figure for anyones whos actually gonna read any of it would rather me just talk to them about it in person.

You haven't read the post your pic thread in a while, have you?Originally Posted by Kagemane_no_Jutsu
Since I feel like it, and having constructively criticized others' work here in the past, here is a sig I made some time ago for another forum (hence the improper dimensions).
Warning: Potential Fate/Stay Night spoiler (most would know anyway).
The signature Ryll once made
In what way could I improve this?
I have no intention of using this sig here, so if you want it, by all means use it.
EDIT:
Here's another one just for fun (also improper dimensions).
"Dare to Dream"
This one is a bit oversaturated on the image side (I didn't bother to level it when I should have).

The Sakura one has an interesting theme, but the focus is scattered. It is usually best to keep only one side or the center of the sig as a focal point.
I definitely like your "Dare to Dream" sig. There is just a little gap in continuity (like a definite break or division) at the top middle part where the two images meet.
Peace.
New signatures.

Cool, another saber fanboy
I'm a rin fanboy myself, but i love all of fsn so great sigs dude
As I do agree Rin is much better as a model, she doesn't rank when it comes to number of renders. One of the primary reasons I use Saber.Originally Posted by Archangel

Welcome back DF! Beautiful sigs. I'd love to see a tut on the style you used for the Fight/Dream/Protect/Love ones.
And the Deadfire is BACK!
I specially liked the last one, the one with the 'love' title.
Thanks....Originally Posted by Nadouku

Indeed I've been asked more then once for the tut, however being that it would be the first time making a tut on my work. I'm sitting on my hands at the moment
On the statement of being back,
I'm thinking about it
Again I'm thinking about itOriginally Posted by RyougaZell
in any case my favorite is either Dream or Fight, Dreams because of the flow, and clean simple image portrayed (more or less inner calm). And Fight because it kicks ass
