Just a little ditty I did in paint... not very good, but then again, not photoshop. The 'smiley' if you will, is Agnry Faic of Newgrounds fame made into crappy paint version. If I had my stylus and pad, it would've turned out much better. Meh, I felt like a change, so here you go.

I had this sweet Hei fanart sitting in my pictures folder, just waiting to be used, so I experimented around and this is what I came up with. I put your name on it, Buffalobiian, since I know you're just as much a DtB fan as I am. So, if you like it, feel free to use it and adopt it. C&C everyone?
Edit: Forgot to comment on the walls. Really nice composition, shinta. I prefer desktops that are clean and simple rather than filled with so much stuff you can't even spot your icons. The flame effect in your Kallen one is pretty neat. Nice work.

Well, the blue was in the original. Actually, let me post the original for you guys, because it's a very nice piece of art. Credits to the very talented artist, whoever they may be.
The glow was actually what caused me some trouble in the making of the sig, because I liked it, but it's not really cut-out-able. And going and cutting out the entire render getting rid of all of the glow would have been more time than I was willing to put toward sig making tonight, especially when I would have just gone and added the glow back in after I was done, because that's the look I wanted. So, the fanart there became the bottom layer of my sig, and all my other layers are applied overtop. I was surprised that it worked out how it did.

I actually use that style a lot when making sigs and wallpapers. By that style, I mean using the BG of the image itself, just editing it without cutting it out. It saves time and usually provides a good base for creativity.
I'm glad there are other Yin fans out there. I thought she was half the goodness of DTB. I really like your current, with her smiling and all, something which only DTB watchers would appreciate fully.

I don't see how his tutorials aren't (as you say) idiotproof. If I had photoshop, I could probably follow the tuts just fine. Then again, knowing him in person is rather a benefit in that arena.
