I am finding it hard to find a good HQ Render for Bebop and I don't know why.

I'm apparently designing another layout. I wanted a glossy feeling for this one, and I think I've pulled it off nicely so far. It's very far from finished, for the record.

Here is my newest creation. I cant find real HQ renders so I went kinda artsy almost watercolor with this one. Tell me what you think:



I decided to try out some tools on this photo and this is what I came out with:

The hair on the right side is kinda.....polygonal.

The Cigarette smoke seems to be coming out of nowhere. Could ya darken the smoke around his collar?

Really like the background on the right. And BoC is always right, that hair looks polygonal, Just use the clone tool to clone the hair into ..well hair.
Give her a 1 px Black Border.

All in all, very nice 2nd sig.

It's easier than that. I think he just forgot to cut away the background for the right side. Look closely.

Edit to BoC: It could have been that easy but that part of the hair in the original picture did not have much detail to it, So i tried the clone tool to get some hair looking such in there. There was not much background left. hope you like the result

Ah, yes. You should definitely replace the current Mr. Buphthalmia with that new one.

There's some nasty pixelation evident in the high contrast areas with white background, but I don't see other real problems.

To be honest, I don't like it at all. Aside from color, nothing else matches in that sig. The problem is the mixing a large face to a very techy/high-contrast background. It just doesn't work.

Thanks Zinobi. It was a hard picture to work with. That is one whole picture that i just messed around with, no brushing at all in it. It was pretty hard to work with. I can post the original image so you guys can see the difference.
