It looks good, except that grunge is about randomness, and on the left side I can see a repeating pattern. Try to shy away from that.
@Kage: Lookin good dude. I like the choice of colors you used for the background, it works good with Shikamaru.
Ok, I re-did my Sasuke sig. Not too happy with the border but I think the sig itself came out ok (I hope).

Eh... it's better than it was, NM... something about the "My Little Pony" color scheme makes my eyes burn, though. Perhaps you should consider doing some image enhancement on the stock image... it just doesn't wanna gel with these fancy backgrounds you're using.
edit replying to below: Blending options, color layers, blurred layers... take your pick. Try making multiple layers of your stock and playing around with differeny blending options and filters.

The only technique I know is Duplicate+Overlay, it makes the colors more vivid. I suggest you tone down the background a bit because the color schemes just don't match.
NM, you should work more on your color schemes....the purple clashes because
1) it doesnt work too well with blue, and
2) it has no connection to the images you're using.
take my sig for example, i took the care to adjust hues so they match well together, and i also made it a point to give the sky the same hue as gaara's eyes
and most importantly.......don't disproportionally scale your images!

I still think there is too much yellow on the brow and nose on Gaara's face, AssrtnFailure. I can see how the grundge is artistic, and I'm not sure now why I didn't like it, it looks good.
And finally i come around to do the last sig on my list of requested sigs i had from a different forum!
Again i ended up with 2 versions, unsure of which one i like better

this is my first time using "grunge" brushes/style, and i dont expect to use it much, (grunge has a nice look, but i think its used too much for sigs and what not), but for this sig i felt it appropiate.The text is kinda plain on purpose. Let me know what you think

2nd 1 is better imo PZ. assertn, if you decreased the opacity of the grunge on your sig it would look better, or change the blending/colour. the vivid black is too harsh atm. also the left side of gaara looks purple which is weird.
its supposed to be harsh, both the strong grunge contrast AND the strong saturated hues on the side of his face
its an unconventional grunge practice, not ALL grunge has to follow your cookie-cutter method [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
although looking at it from one of these crazy bright, low-contrast monitors at school, the purple look in his hair is alot more noticeable than on my monitor...i might change that later

its nice jing altho feels a lil empty on the left.
assertn i dont have a "cookie-cutter method" i havent used the technique i had in my tutorial for ages now. i still think the black grunge is too overpowering for the background. but its your sig, im just telling you my opinion, no need to have a hissy fit

cept you weren't critising my sig, you were critising my tutorial which has nothing to do with what ive said about your sig. if youre too self-assured to take some constructive criticism about a sig without giving back-talk about something completely unrelated then you'll never improve. all you had to say was that you like it how it is, no need to have a go at me
no, actually i wasnt even referring to your tutorial. I'm referring to the fact that everyone follows pretty much the same approach with grunge in their sigs, and so i took it a different way.
It would be arrogant of you to consider your opinions so "absolute" that other people cant defend their reasoning without it being called a "hissy fit"
