For one thing the text would look a lot sharper with that effect if turn off AA
ehm okay theif i guess you have apoint in what you are saying maybe ill try it and see how it looks. since i have no experience of this i can only guess but wouldnt the text become more visible if i fix that?
BoC i wanted the psj text to look like a part of the mech a little it was the best i could do, the saviour text looked awesoem where it is so i couldnt put psj on top of it and it didnt fit well in either of the corners on the left either and i dont want the psj text to fly up in your face to much i like it a little less noticeable but i guess i can try to make it more visible to ill post a sig with both "problems" fixed.

i kinda think the lower S looks better.... i dont like that thick look the upper s got. to me it just doesnt look good, if the font looked like that i would never use it....
Further experimentation with misting techniques.
think it might need some work but...what do ya think?
Damn, It's slick. As usual. Do you have some tuts anime050?
that misting thing looks cool how do you do it? and as always a50 got some good stuff. naruko its looks quite good, you're new to photoshop right? maybe you should work a little on the background tho. thats my problem to i have a hard time making the background look the way i want it... other than that it looks quite good. alot better than my first tries.
so here's a little something i just finished.
what do you think?
@Souryusen: That looks really cool, can you tell us how to do it?
@Naroku: I see you decided to try Neji . But yeah, I think you should work on your background. But other than that, the text and all is cool.
@a50: Very sexy a50, lol.
@PSJ: As always, very cool man. I think if you add Itachi's Sharingan and blend it with the background, then it'll look much cooler.
Keep up the good work guys!
This fantastic Sousuke sig was made by the one and only Lucifus! Thanks man!
yeah i only just figured photoshop out on thursday, lol thanks. I'll work on my backgrounds ^^
I've gotta say alot of these 1st, 2nd and 3rd attempts are worlds better than my first few. I'll be interested to see some of the stuff you guys put out as you get more PS experience.
r3n: thats pretty good with c4d, im trying to play around with it too, but im just not good at it =P i wanted to my some spike crystals.. straight ones though.
hmm yea i thought about that ill try to find some pic of a good sharingan the problem tho is that he got hair in the way of the eye in most screens.
i think i like your previous sig better souryusen
the imbalanced distribution of white space in the new one makes it looke "unfinished"
also, you might want to put some sort of border on it
10/4/04 - 8/20/07
I'm not a big fan of borders, to be honest. And I'm not terribly satisfied with the final appearance much either. I like the mist (a lot), I like the stock image (I haven't seen it used yet) but I have yet to think of a way to pull it all together yet.
I'll toy with it yet.
edit: Thank you for the constructive criticism, btw.
edit2: The ep that inspired the sig had a honey colored background in many of the aura sequences.. I think that's the avenue I'll explore.
borders are a nice thing actually in my opinion they make the sigs look much better.
btw how are you doing that mist thing i like the look of that.
I think some of the more advanced photoshop users should give a very general sig making tutorial on their style of backrounds and effects. I'm not saying I want a step by step on how to make sigs just like you. But just a general outline on creating some of the more difficult effects in photoshop. Don't start to get all pissy and defensive about this. I don't want you to reveal all your secrets but to help some of us out with learning a little beyond the basics. If all you have to say is "Well I learned it myself you can too" then you obviously don't see the point in this post.
Chances are many many many many of us learned most of what we know from places like
