Current looks better, then lighting's more natural.
Is it possible to keep the lighting effect without obscuring Pa?

If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
Couldn't you center his face a bit better? And both are way too bright on the left
yeah you guys are right the lighting is fucked im just gonna get rid of most of it
he looks pretty centered to me... now that you mention it though it is a bit off, guess we dont need to see his thumb that badly.
Well Jiraya should be drawing in all the attention right? Then his froggy nose should be right in the middle
New set. Niche from Letter Bee. My current.
I know there is not much to comment on, but I just want to ask if the colours look okay, especially on the sig. In my home monitor it looks good, but at work it seems kind of weird.
Peace.
The colors on the avatar are nice, very vibrant, but the sig looks a bit washed out (only noticeable because of the avatar). It is partially because of the black background.
Yeah, it looks that way here at work too. I guess my home monitor has more contrast than most. Well, it can be fixed with a bit of saturation and contrast fiddling when I get home.
EDIT: Or would it be better to tone down the avatar instead? I'm worried about making the sig to contrasting and hard on the eyes.
Peace.
I like the simplicity of it, aside from your usual works of art. I guess I should watch Letter Bee.
I am training in the shadows.
Currently playing: All of your games, probably.
I agree with Ryll, but not because of the relative effect compared with the avatar. I just think it looks washed out overall with or without it.
I noticed it on my laptop as well as my desktop.

How about you post a couple versions with different fonts? I'm not really feeling that one
And just crank up the colors a bit. Maybe by setting the dark curve on the dark blue in her eyes and the light on the pink in her head accessory
New current set, in honour of my favourite series right now.
I think the text does not really fit the background and overall theme of the sig. Something sharper and thinner might look better, along with some foreground effects to incorporate the text into the sig.
Can you try zooming in a bit on her so that she can fill up more of the space on the left? That way, the kitkat text can be moved together with the DtB text. It might look a bit more focused that way.
I think the stars background is a great idea, so tweaking the sig a bit should greatly improve the final results.
Peace.
Foreground effects.....I am not so experienced with such things. And I'm limited with text right now because all my fonts are on my computer that died. Anyhow, is this kind of what you were suggesting?
Yeah, that looks great.
Peace.

Okay, like everyone suggested, I upped the colour and brightness a bit. I also made several versions with different text. Which of them looks best?
I am going for a simpler look, so I only used fonts that are not too fancy or elaborate.

Peace.
I like this one.
It's striking enough to draw attention and get the message across without screaming at you. I think the bits of black in the white text softens the contrast a bit, resulting in the latter effect. The squarish-roundness also fits in with Niche's face and body shape/size, unlike the lanky font #3.

The last one, with 2 px smaller font and you have yourself a winnerOriginally Posted by shinta|hikari

Also, is that background a snapshot from the anime? Because it looks kinda choppy. If you could fix that i would be a big fan of that sig
Looks great now. Thanks for the comments and advice guys.
Peace.
Choppy how? Like non-uniform? I used a snapshot as the base of the background, but incorporated an actual photo of a comet. I'll check it out on my computer at work today, because sometimes my laptop screen doesn't show me small subtleties of colour and shades very well.Originally Posted by Archangel
