    as my interest in e7 has waned recently I am really trying to get a new sig/avatar combo up and running ASAP

    started from scratch on the Xenogears sig. This is what I got...

    as always your feedback is much appreciated

    I can't see what that sig is supposed to be. I see a face on the left but everything else is just a mess.

    Masa, check out Kage's tutorials in the tutorial thread, they are very good and you'll learn alot.

    Masa, I don't mean to be rude, but seriously, listen to PSJ's advise (about using one render). Not only is it hard to tell what the right render is but the edges are poorly done. On the other hand, the BG seems to look cool.

    i will check out the tutorial, but since i've done this new attempt i figure i'd post it as well

    guess i have to go back and learn it all over again eh?

    edit- thanks! i accidentally dragged the unaltered image (the Gear with the planet) into the image (the BG is actually the face and Clone Stamped hair) then fiddled with the settings and some Layer Masks! Now to give it a border!

    My only complaint is to make it alittle brighter, other than that it's perfect. A HUGE, DRAMATIC improvement. Keep it up Masa!

    Honestly dragonrage, I think I have yet to see a sig from you that didn't impress me! That looks good, I can see what you mean with the text but all in all it looks really nice!

    Edit: Sorry Zinobi I was going to post on yours too but the image didn't load until after I closed firefox and reopened it. That looks good. As with DR, I don't know much about final fantasy as I've never followed the games, but as sig material that looks good. I also recommend you brighten the To Zanarkand text up just a little and maybe the render a little bit too but other than that I think it looks sweet!

    edit: while i am at it, i think i am gonna make one more almost forgot how to make one, after that long break.

    @ zinobi: sorry that you feel left out, and i appologize that i didn't comment on your sig on the forums. So here goes: its looks pretty nice, although i don't know much about final fantasy i was a little stricking by the text I think it could be better. and you could enhance the render a little more, that would make it better as well. nice job, it was an improvement for the angel sig. which looked like you didn't put any effort into it at all. Keep 'em coming.

    You think you can post that picture of Id Weltall? I haven't seen any good pictures of Xenogears stuff.

    Btw it looks good, but I suggest you remove the face on the left and just keep the gear. Oh, and add a border for completeness sake.

    Id's Gear with Spacey Background

    damn you just pumped out that Emeralda sig in a heartbeat! I was doing and redoing my current one for days now... I'm not sure if I like the render of her as a child. I would personally use a pic of her Gear, Crescens (one of the most, if not the most, beautiful Gears ever) but that's just me. Background fits damn well

    BoC, I absolutely adore the Emeralda sig. I'm a sucker for green and it has a dreamy feeling to it.

    I do think it would be better without her as a child in the corner though.

    Masa, I wouldn't call it a heartbeat. It was frickin tough to render the adult Emeralda because the original was a fairly low quality picture. I'll make some adjustments so expect an updated version soon.

    It was hard to fit Crescens on there because it's long and narrow. I tried to get more of the wings on but they simply don't fit
