Oh Ive seen it but I cant tell you where
R.I.P Captain America.
Yeah I am waiting for the flashback to end as well....I am wondering how the rest of the show will finish if they keep eating up the remaining of the 26 eps with this flashback stuff.
Yeah... im wondering the same thing.... maybe they are planning another series... because they are really chewing up the episodes
Hopefully it'll end soon. It seems like it's coming to an end.
yah, the flashbacks r long. i wanna see souichiro and aya again.
I tried my best...
well a-s&aoi just released episodes 11 & 12 HQ
I miss my fav characther Masatka Takayanagi so i hope mitsumi or whatever his name is kills Shin quick to end the flashbacks!
It's amazing how naive Mitsoumi was when he was younger.
They even passed over some stuff that the Jyuken club (spelled right?) did after the bowling alley from the manga, went straight to the flashback.
Please drag this out longer, please do. Make this anime the crap it wasnt supposed to be.
The fact that the flashback only pertains to Maya [who has done, lets see, not one damn thing in this flashback except beat some guy with Shin's finger technique], and Mitsoumi [who has, hey, how bout that, done nothing also] bothers me deeply.
The flashback isnt supposed to start as one thing and come out completely different. The Shin-Bunshichi fight was cool, but thats it.
What I'm trying to say is that they setup these 5 characters, and have veered away from whats good about the anime. I always thought the central character was supposed to be Souichiro, and his goal to be the strongest in the club. Thats just me...
Gaara: is the manga better than the anime? Its the first time i feel like dumping an anime,Masatka is the reason im still watching this anime.
From what i've heard... maybe someone in this thread mentioned it earlier.. Souichiro is not the central character in the manga... in fact he dissapears for a couple of volumes...
but dont take my word for it since i havent read it...
oh yeah. I have volumes 1-10, but got that at tjtg.mangatranslation.com before the manga got licensed by DC comics (which the site removed the torrent), and will try to help find it for you.
There is some stuff from the manga that hasnt been on the show, gratuitous nudity, and a well-done design.
*on nudity, when you watch the show, it's plainly obvious when they are censoring or reanimating a certain sequence*
The thing of it is, though, the anime is only 26 episodes, and the manga has expanded to 12 chapters. Im not even sure if its over yet.
It's not like Naruto where the anime plays catch-up w/ the manga, thus allowing the show to put more into the show, then say a series that is 26 eps. I guess it cant be helped.
*shoulda made the series 52 eps.*
Budweineken: the opinion on the main character I formed was before I read the manga. I speak from an anime standpoint. One would think to be that hes the central character of the series, cause of the recent events, and his claim to be the strongest in 3 months.
QUOTE from Hyuga koji: In the beginning yes but later on it begins to focus more on the jyukenbu as a whole.
Souichirou doesn't show up for more than 3 volumes.
The series doesn't revolve around Souichirou and Aya they get more screen time than other characters but it is not their story.
i agree that they won't be able to put 10 volumes of manga in 26 episodes. the flashbacks aren't even finished!! i read the manga...and imo, it's better. the action scenes were cool in the beginning especially the fight between masataka and souichiro (i thought it was the coolest thing when souichiro grabbed masataka's fist and masataka turned and kicked him). the action scenes later don't look as exciting.
I tried my best...
hi, have all the eps of tenjou tenge already been released in japan? and if so does anyone know when ep 15 will be released by aone, or if someone else has already released it subbed?
Hello hello! Long time lurker, first time poster. Just got this awesome anime, and I'm loving it! Just one thing though. I've tried a few different codecs, uninstalling and installing. Xvid, DivX, ffdshow bundle, I have the media player 9 vcm as well.
When I watch the first episode, the video seems to drag, scramble, then catch up at certain points. Is this my codec not being the right one? Or is it the actual video? Specifically, it's the version I got from here, and one spot where the slowdown occurs is right at the beginning of the first ep's intro, when one of the fine ladies does a somersault into the vid.
Thanks for your time, and thanks GW for the awesome work!

If you got everything updated... codec wise... and still having problems... then it might be a problem of having a crappy pc if in fact you have one... sometimes lack of ram is a problem if you are running a couple of programs at a time...
Hi, I've been leeching Naruto, etc. and lurking your forums for a while. I hope this question is ok.
Have you guys dropped Tenjou Tenge? I ask because it doesn't have a heading under the forums menu and becuase it's been a couple weeks since an ep was released.
I appreciate all the hard work you put into your subs.
I'm just hoping they put a few out at once cause I'm tired of this flashback I want it to get back to the real story soon.
