Wow... Gaara looked like an ape lol.
It's too bad he did not kill Sasuke, i can't stand him.
Loved how Naruto ended up saving his cocky ass.
Next episode is sure to be nothing more than a bunch of flashbacks.
anyone else notice the errors that the animators made with gaara near the end? I can't believe they made such a blatant mistake as to completely forget about the tail he was supposed to have. I'm referring to one of the scenes where he's charging after sasuke and sasuke's trying chidori for the 3rd time

I thought that the tail receeded and formed the left arm? It was his right arm that was transformed before.

About the scene they zoomed out after the chidori was a bit strange, he should have had his right arm somewhere there, but he didn't, and that is just bad, because when they jump towards eachother again right after that he does have his arm there. It might be magic [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]
And now i do hope that Naruto takes over the show and make Sasuke see how great he is [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
I'm curious as to how many more episodes the Third is gonna have that sword stuck in him. I know they're trying to climax everything at the same time, but its been three episodes so far and it doesn't look like they're gonna end it next one.
yea i noticed that to. lol what an error. but seriously how could they drag the part between the 2nd and 3rd chidori out this much?its like only 3 pages or something in the manga its even wrose than when they dragged the one square fight between temari and tenten out to one whole episode. hate when they do things like that.Originally posted by: AssertnFailure

As I've said before, good episode, they showed itachi for the first time in closeup...
Although everybody claims open endings suck, they are better than 3 pages of manga. I rather watch 70 episodes of sword through the old geezer (as Konohaomaru) would say, than sloppy 1 minute work. Itz worth the wait... as long as Naruto continues to air and downloable on AnimeOne & ANBU. Anyone agree? Even though it sux to wait, but better than no wait ^^

this episode rocked ass!! i enjoyed very much, specially while eating two bowls of noodles, some coke, and a snickers bar to top it off [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
i did notice the mistake too, and the weird animation near the end, but hey, stuff like that happen, and its cool that the animation didnt suck in the whole thing
It was a really good episode, I found it very interesting because they showed a glimpse of Itachi standing around some bodies(my guess Uchiha members), another thing I liked was when Naruto showed up.
I've finally caught up with the rest of you guys, after about a week of watching on and off the first 74 episodes...Whew! I love this episode!
However, I wonder if Naruto is using his blue Chakra or the Kyubi's red Chakra when he kicked Gaara? I don't know, it's just a thought that flashed in my mind, because they had a shot of Naruto's eyes at the end. Which also makes me wonder if his eyes turn into the red slits they were when he used the Kyubi's Chakra against Haku way back in the first 20 episodes. *shrugs* Either way, the next episode is just a flashback, but I'm guessing we will learn a bunch about Gaara that way.
I don't like the ending much. The song is cool, but the animation....And the opening is alright. I think it would be amazing if they had Haruka Kanata and Wind together once, I dunno, those are my favorite opening and ending.

this episode was pretty good.
i dont read the manga, so i cant compare what people say
i didnt really notice the change in animation with gaaras demon tail, but there has been a lot of "messed up" scenes with the characters
i noticed that the seals that sasuke did for chidori was different than before, as with a lot other seals the characters have been doing for their same moves
and about the naruto kyubi eye thing, i rewatched that part and i didnt notice that either
remember "dont underestimate me" says Naruto, hes probably gotten a lot stronger after beatin neji
I enjoyed every minute of this eps. Action all the way. The intensity kept building. Watching Naruto hasn't felt this good since Lee vs Gaara in 48-50

No, Naruto isn't all that bad under his own power.
Also, I wonder if and when the Third will actually pull Orochimaru's soul out...If he doesn't then who will be the Hokage? Konohomaru? What the hell could he do against Orochimaru? Hm...Troublesome thoughts...
And what about Kabuto? Where the hell did he go? He was one of the ANBU imposters, and then we went off into the whole everything else; Hokage vs Orochimaru, Naruto's group, Sasuke following Gaara, etc....
