AJ sucks... i'll just wait for other groups
Sorry to double post...
Anime-kraze is about to release episode 15, so i'll just wait for 16+ from them... just to some of you that they are still releasing
I don't see why some people complain and bitch about a series getting licensed...Sure I understand that you love it and all...but if it got licensed then something was done right and we'll eventually see it on DVD. Isn't that the idea of fansubbing? To sub something until, hopefully, it gets licensed and we can show true support for it? Cause if you're bitchign about this company and that licensing good anime, you're probably just pissed that you won't be able to get it for free as easily.
Well that's up to everyone... i really dont care what people think about the issue and wont waste my time analyzing what other people think about the issue... I'll just go around my business without concerns
Anyways.... A-Kraze just released episode 16 for those of you that want it
A-Kraze is back in business !

Anime-Kraze is going to continue on subbing C.C. or r they stoping at 16 cause 17 is out RAW
As far as I know they are going to sub the whole series to the end.
Although I appreciate the works done by Anime-Kraze, I have to say that there are rooms for improvement for them. Their jumping karaoke subs in OP is a bit annoying, and AonE's water-wave subs in ED is matched by no one. AonE has better contrast as well.
I still remember when AonE and Anime-Kraze were sort of 'competing' for "Ai Yori Aoshi ~Enishi~" I downloaded both for comparison. Anime-Kraze clearly made some mistakes in the ENGLISH part of ED theme song (Set forth for the rainbow -- set 'foot' on the rainbow?!).
i just want to step in for the people that hate to see things liscensed before completion, you guys say, "they're bringing good anime out to america" well they are, and thats a good thing, but what we know as americans, ALL americans, know to 98% certainty that ALL american business decisions are driven by profit, and when things are driven by profit and does as a means of securing cash, it has no heart in it, they dont put their foot in it, they do it the best way to keep profits up, cheap and fast, fansubbers do waht they do for free and they care about what we like to see, thus fansub quality sometimes and often surpasses the "professional quality" of these dvd releases, one thing i will give them is they have better vid quality with pro editors and a direct copy of the raw eps., but they usually do half assed jobs of subbing and not only that, but they usually do low budget dubs, in which the voices sound like those of some HOBO off of the street they paid 5 bucks and a donut to speak the lines into a mic., now the only thing i can really say is, i hope they do a good job, dragonball z, cowboy bebop, witch hunter robin, lupin the 3rd and some more were all well dubbed in america, but then theres the other failures for instance kenshin's voice from Rurouni Kenshin and Vash's voice from trigun which were just horrible enough to make me despise watchin the anime on cartoon network, thank god i had the fansub versions already, all im sayin is, its fine and dandy that things get liscensed, but i personally would rather see the entire thing fansubbed then have it get liscensed so if they screw it up, at least i've already seen it
wat do u mean Kenshin voice and Vash voice were horrible huh i thought there voices were good cause they were funny and they fitted to be in that role cause Vash was funny casue he does stupid reckless things at times and Kenshin is funny cause he gets beat by everyone else like Karu,Sano,Megumi,Yaihiko, etc.
i semi agree here. ROD TV and GITS SAC have been licensed since they aired. Aone did ROD TV in full, but we got stopped on GITS SAC i think at 20. Does this bother me? No.I don't see why some people complain and bitch about a series getting licensed...Sure I understand that you love it and all...but if it got licensed then something was done right and we'll eventually see it on DVD. Isn't that the idea of fansubbing? To sub something until, hopefully, it gets licensed and we can show true support for it? Cause if you're bitchign about this company and that licensing good anime, you're probably just pissed that you won't be able to get it for free as easily.
I plan to buy ROD TV 1(with book) and GITS SAC LE 1(with box) when they come out in june.
I can see why some people don't want things to stopped being subbed, due to licensing, and are either to cheap or don't have the money to buy the DVD's.
But i would take a DVD over a lot of things. I can't wait to see GITS SAC in dvd form.
I agree with dormcat, i just don't like the people calling pioneer, bandai, media blasters,ADV(well i join in most ADV bashing) bastards and the like, they put out anime for you to buy. If you have trouble waiting that long, just get the DVD rips when some group release them.
I dont mind anime getting licensed and all but can they do it after the series?
And most of the time the dvd's suck cause only some here in the netherlands have the option of japanese audio. And all the dubs especialy kenshin and trigun they just make me puke.We got to pay a lot for crap over here about 30 euros a bit more then 30 dollares for 3 crappy dubs :@
If the released dvds all had an option of japanese audio then i didnt mind at all.But i wont forgive them for licensing right in the middle :@
its ok when anime is licensed in my opinion....but only when its licensed after its finished. mostly because i dont have the money to afford dvds, even though they're only 20 dollars.
they seem to be licensing big money titles before they even air now
Here's my take on this issue.
If you have a problem with anime getting licensed in the middle, it's your problem. These companies don't have a time table for leechers. How stupid do u think that is? Also, let's imagine a scenario (although in all likelyhood, they won't even think that far). Your fansubbing group is subbing an anime series and they happen to lag behind a little bit. Do you think the companies should think "damn, these fansubbers have exams so they're a little behind on finishing the series. Let's not get it licensed yet and wait till they're done with it. When will that happen? Who knows prolly in their free time or something".
If its not ok for them to license an anime in the middle of your viewing, then pick another series. There are plenty of free stuff out there still available. I'm a little biased because of my job in the distribution center and of course I want all the good animes to be available to consumers as soon as possible. But yes, there are plenty of stuff out there already. You should be thankful that you're still able to watch anime for free. Don't expect everything if you're not going to donate something in return.
Also, I don't find too many things wrong with the anime dubbing. There are occasional dubbing jobs that don't match, I admit to this. For example, the Crest of the Stars. I do wish they had done a better job on that title. But in any case, most people don't complain about them.
