i started reading this manga yesterday...
I'm up to volume 5 at the moment... I have to say I really like this manga... it is pretty screwed up.... I also like the art of this mangaka... characters look real and believable, even if at times they have a supernatural feel sorrounding them...
Edit: Just read up to 17... this manga is crazy...

I bought vol. 1 of the manga, but it didn't really interest me so I didn't carry on with vol. 2. Can anybody give a short sypnosis? Hope I'm not missing out on anything. I really liked Monster, so I hope 20th Century Boys is just as good.

how long is this manga anyway? Is it finished in Jap-land? I read pretty much everything that's been scanned into english so far.
Problem is, this manga is better when you read it a volume (or three volumes) at a time. Waiting a week for each chapter diminishes the impact of the manga. Not only that, but this manga is such that the story is so complicated you're really not alloweed to forget anything.
Just read up to chapter 4 of volume 20...
Things have progressed nicely, can't wait to see Kiriko talk about everything that has happened...
I don't think the manga has finished in Japan yet... I suspect that there will be about 3 more volumes...
