Maybe Tsunade was a total flirt and there was a major competition between Orochi and Jiraiya for her affection.
Ultimately neither can sway her. This causes Orochi to turn evil and Jiraiya to go perv.
So Tsunade would then be ultimately almost responsible for the destruction of Konoha, which is ironic given her current position (and I'm not talking about those other ones she's used to assuming, but her "political" one).

actually jiraiya is based off japanese mythology. The real jiraiya was pervert too so that is why kishimoto made him that way too.
Why does everyone talk about Tsunade so much, Moegi is the only real woman in the show.

only joking about moegi, i just thought i'd get her name out there since it seems like everybody only talks about Konohamaru and Udon. But seriously, Asuma is pretty pimp, I think he's the only one we've seen out on a date (if the thing with Kurenai counts.) Gai also could probably also get any lady he wants.
