What sort of application do you use to make screencaps of frames in anime episodes?
If you hit the PrintScreen button on your keyboard, your computer will make a screencap of your current desktop, but will not capture the actual frame of animation in a movie file.
So, how do cool people like littlecooldude and other screencap gallery owners do it?

They use FDD show or something like that. My computer sucks so everytime I try to take a screenap using it, it freezes up on me.
Do a search for Animated GIF making FAQ in the fanart forum. Their was step by step on how to do it in there.

Also if you need... I use VirtualDub to extrac scenes from an episode... that's if you want more than a screen cap for, let say, an animated gif

Running Windows Media player you can hit ctrl-i and it will save a printscreen as a jpg.
You can also download BSPlayer and then printscreen works, but I prefer the previous method, as it is easier.
