First of all, have you ever heard of "artic-gears", why would i try to look like him buying special clothes and merchendise just for that, I just did it, not too troublesome, second, Itachi has a black coat with red 'cloud' looking things...
Why is Itachi such a big deal, and why does everybody get pissy during discussins about him?
I think the coolest thing about Itachi is his compelexity -- we don't really have ANY definate answers on why he does what he does. He's scarier b/c we don't know what he's going to do next.
About the cosplay: definately some more effort could be done. A good school friend of mine made an Itachi cloak and actually appliqued on all the red clouds, lined the cloak in red and made the standing collar properly. Cloak patterns are dime a dozen, and you good get a perfectly acceptable cheap cotton to make it for $2 a yard at walmart.

you are so narrowminded. there really arent "female work" and "male work" these days. besides if you want to be taken seriously you should do something at least put red paper clouds or something on your coat. you wont be taken seriously by putting a black jacket on and a homemade forehead protector.
NOTE: yea itachi's coat is black my bad.

I'm refering you to my current one, the final one, there are major changes. It is really a good redition but most people think that photoshop dosen't fit in cosplay
