Yeah, I really liked the new soundtrack when he think about all the konoha ninjas, it's the best so far... I hope it's in OST #2.. I really liked the hokage 3rds speach.. it's so honestly... beautiful.
in a brief comparaison to the manga i thought the flashback sequence was a lot more meaningful and touching in the anime.
in turn, the scene of dead bodies hanging in the orochimaru's ab was more impactful and true to the his nature.
this is a lil late in the discussion, and i'm new to the forums, but i have been watching naruto since the beginning so i know a lot i believe and not to make any enemies, but to those who believe the the kid with the goggles (the one next to kakashi) is kakashi's dead friend, i think he is actually Asuma, shikamaru's jounin sensei. i think iz obvious with the black hair... AND the toothpick in his mouth... toothpick=cigarette=connection=asuma... goggles or not iz asuma... naruto doesn't wear his goggles anymore. i think the girl in that picture is kakashi's dead friend... dead lover... maybe thaz why he misses her so... she has no resemblence to any of the live characters also, she has to be the dead friend, not the goggles kid. just my two cents. thanx
about the 4th being held by the lord of death, i think it is because the 3rd apologises to the 4th before he does the technique.

if it was asuma, i'd figure he would be a lot closer to kakashi. and i don't i remember one scene where asuma and kakashi are just chatting like friends (ie gai/kakashi). there is no point of making them seem so distant when they were former teammates.

In the anime it was Hokage 2nd that performed the "Kokuangyo" technique but in the manga, which is the authentic shit it was hokage 1st... Cut the bullshit !!!
It was a preety good episode, the anmation was great.
Here is just a merely THEORY of mine.
When the Third starts that sealing jutsu we can see a person being held by the God of Death I think its the Third itself being held. Now this is just a simple theory of mine.

They changed it so the 2nd actaully did somthing, the first had already made all of those trees.
They just did'nt want to leave the 2nd out.

A very good episode. It actually made me kinda emotional what Hokage said. I'm never emotional. The Death God technique looks cool. Flashbacks that are interesting. A very good episode, knowing that their was little action in it.

How do you possible know?? that's not a good reason to change the fact that 1st performed it, not the 2nd. They have changed everything, as we have discussed, the bodies in orochimaru's hideout was replaced with coffins bottles etc.... this is unacceptable.
If you think it's unacceptable, stop watching the anime. I don't mind, so long as they don't deviate too far.
That said, I was wondering, "WTF" throughout the entire Sasuke v. Temari fight. It never happened in the manga... now we're gonna need some serious Deus ex Machina to get the battle in the forest storyline back on track. However, I will keep watching just to see if they pull it off.
This is unacceptable? Look who thinks he has authority. Oh, I'm sure the WHOLE episode was comepletely RUINED from deviating from the manga ever so slightly.

On another note:
That episode was pretty cool. I really did like the Temari/Sasuke fight but I found it wayyyy to short. Then again, some of the flashbacks were really cool. I was wondering, in Orochimaru's lab what technique did he do to kill two ANUBU members and nearly kill Enma? It must have been super powerful. Also, the thrid hokage must be mega powerful to actually summon a god while also summoning Enma!

yeah... the 3 legendary seninsvery cool..
but the marks don't mean a thing, it's not like he's his son .
I don't cry, ******, but they should follow the manga better, they've passed the line now, not to talk about the blood-level = <u>LOW</u>.
yeah i also noticed the lines under their eyes......i wonder if kishimoto purposely did that recurringly to represent tears of some sort?
that was pretty cool how kakashi was trained by the 4th...it would also explain more as to why sarutobi picked kakashi to train naruto's group
