Naruto Episode 72 Discussion

Overall, this ep was awesome. The art was decent, but Sarutobi's head seemed to have been drawn a bit thin and long at times.

A few things I noticed:


A hokage is holding Naruto in this picture. The 4th maybe? Can you say, "Daddy?"




The silhouette inside the Death God kinda looks like the 4th, especially in the 1st shot.

I'm thinking that the 3rd might be doing the same jutsu that the 4th used to seal the Demon fox.

Anyway, discuss.

yep, i think its the same jutsu as well.....can't wait to see what it actually is.

the ep was great.....finally a talking ep that i enjoyed. i loved getting to know the bg info on oro and the 3rd. and the scenes showing all the hokage's and thier students were kool.

is it just me or do the students look alike? like, tsunade looks like sakura, and that one girl in sarutobi's old team (i think) looks like moegi (konohamaru's friends).

i wanna see how kakashi and gai are holding up. and what happened to the baki/gemma fight? and shino as well? hopefully we'll see them all soon

Now if i remember correctly Jiraiya and that other dude that was suppose to train Naruto (whos name escape me) were talking and the other guy said like that the 3rd hokage miss Jiraiya and how that they should tell the 3rd about him being back in the village now does that sound like a really big hint to anyone else.

i dunno how to copy and past from the video, but i noticed that in one the flashes when sarutobi was talking about future hokagi, they showed a picture of what looked up the grown up naruto...

is that true?

No, it was hokage 4th aka yondaime.

I was also quite perplexed as to why they had the 2nd using the Genjutsu...considering future events that have already taken place in the Manga...

Yeah Sasuke owned Temari. Oh and did you also noticed how there was a young version of Kakashi with the 4th? Was the 4th his teacher?

Yea, for once, flashbacks were actually nice.

Yeah, i really really liked seeing all the younger versions of the jounins.. They&#39;re soooo cute &#33; especially the baby kakashi, mwhehehee, the small Orochimaru&#39;s cute and innocent looking too..

this episode was great
i wanted to see more action though
i thought that the beginning with pakkun talking about using the same shampoo as sakura was not needed
the death god thing was pretty cool
i guess that the Third used kagebushin so that he can do some kind of sealing technique for each person hes going against
three Sandaimes vs oro, 1st and 2nd

yeah its pretty cool how they used the flashbacks to sorta show how everyone&#39;s connected to each other. I think the demon guy looking like the fourth is just coincidence....since im sure that even though its the 4th&#39;s jutsu, the god of death has been around a LOT longer than he has. That WAS actually a type of summoning, wasnt it?

anyway, the temari vs sasuke match didnt happen in the manga, so thats a nice little addition, but aside from that new song they had near the end and all the cool flashbacks of other konoha ninjas, i didnt care too much for this ep

oh....and while it certainly looks like a hokage holding baby naruto.....it could just be in reference to the 4th sealing kyubi into naruto....although the eyes and hair seem to bear a great resemblance between the two....i dont think we can jump to conclusions just yet

yeah i loooved the temari vs sasuke fight...crazy...esp since we dont get to see sasuke use his katon (fire element) jutsus alot..nice..

How do you possible know?? that&#39;s not a good reason to change the fact that 1st performed it, not the 2nd. They have changed everything, as we have discussed, the bodies in orochimaru&#39;s hideout was replaced with coffins bottles etc.... this is unacceptable. </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'>
I don&#39;t know, but it makes sense.

Besides it&#39;s not like it matters anyway.

My Gawd that was a Fine Eps. I sware i grabbed the sides of my screen right as it ended. I cant wait. this hole Arc is one of the best in the serise/manga

what i wanna know is... who is that one guy in the goggles... kakashi&#39;s teamate... that guy looks badass

oh and does anyone find it strange to see that the 3rd picked one jiraya&#39;s student instead of one his own...?
