Got a question: When will the voting be started/over, and when will the results be announced?
I've got tonight and tomorrow until 5 to make the sig, so I'm not too too worried about that.. but after that, Mike's got a LAN party to go to.. and guess how many computers we have? 1.
So I won't be able to see anything until Saturday morning, while I'm at work, and then after that.. Monday, when Mike gets back from his LAN party.

i think its betr to have longer for the voting as then more ppl will vote , and also if its offsite as LCD is suggesting i think (?), then there is more chance of cheating

I say voting goes till tuesday noon, that way its almost a full week cycle.

I'd not like to let voting go for a week; it'll double the length of the tournament overall.

Oh, and no worries about cheating, it's actually more secure than the boards here at gotwoot! LCD has written a wonderful script that limits voters per IP address. I helped him test it, and the code works great and the layout it very nice and clean. Mad props to LCD's coding skills.

Ok, I like the one week cycle idea.

I will be in Waco during Saturday, but when I get home in the evening around 6:00PM EST, I will post up the poll. (Your PMs are tim stamped, I will not accept any past noon)

There will be two polls running until noon Tuesday.
The first poll is to decide who advances. This is a vote on the sigs people have created, and will be held offsite.
The second poll is to decide what character to cover next. This will be held here in the forums.

Any changes need to be made?


Edit: ok I was thinking about the times, and I think they should be moved to like 6:00PM EST since more of us are at home at that time. (Besides, I need to be home to select the best pictures).

I suggest we round up when halving an odd number (ex: 7->4).

The poll won't be on the forums as there is a 10 option limit here. I am coding my own poll for this tournament, and it will restrict multiple voting via IP.

Edit: ok, how long should the voting last. I say 2 days.

4 days is just nuts when it happens to be all weekdays and during school, i thought that one sig contest that lasted several weeks worked out pretty successfully
