naruto featured in animatrix?

first off, sorry if anyone already posted about this!

anyway, if you have or rent the DVD of the animatrix, you can watch their whole "history of anime" segment and see naruto.. sorta.

about 1/3 of the way through the segment, they'll start talking about astroboy, and then about the popularity of japanese manga (how it spans into different subjects like lovestories, science fiction etc)

as soon as they say "sci-fi" they show someone holding an open manga in front of the camera, and i swore i saw rock lee's face, so of course i freezed it and yup, there it was. i believe it's the volume that features sasuke and lee's first fight, but i didn't exactly stare at it for very long. i DID notice that you can see other volumes of naruto on top of this huuuge pile of manga in the background though, which was funny.

anyway i'm probably like the 500th person to post about this, since everyone & their mom probably already saw the animatrix.. d'oh

yep, me and my cousin spotted this too.

That was a great documentary about the history of manga and anime.

It is worth the whole price of the dvd alone, great info.

It's because of that History of Anime Documentary that I watched all these great anime movies such as:

Ghost in the Shell
Akira
Ninja Scroll

And I've yet to see Grave of the Fireflies. Anyone seen it? Any good?
