Recently I've been getting stuff from www.digitaleyes.net, only because they had an item in stock that my usual place didn't. My usual online shop is www.deepdiscountdvd.com and contrary to what others have posted on the forum, I've never gotten Hong Kong burns from them or even seen any available. Ordered about 10-15 DVD's from them so far and all of them have been in perfect condition and fully legal copies.

I've seen a lot of anime DVD's for sale for the first time at a place called Central Park (a gaming shop). Holy hell they were expensive, better off downloading them all for free. It's more time consuming, but 40$ for 3 episodes, 300$ for one saga, i think i'll pass
Plus they were all dubbed, so it wouldve been crap.

If you don't mind possible Engrish, you could go after HK dvds (animeniacs.org is a group that my friend works with, and I did some editing for them on one anime).. they're usually 5-10 bucks for like 3-5 episodes, or 20-50 bucks for a whole season/set (depending on how many episodes).. Not sure what shipping is.
Also, some HK translation groups are better than others when it comes to Engrish. Perfect Collections, though, are nice and cheaper than American DVDs, come in boxsets, and have the American subtitles on them already (and a few commercials too).. so if you can wait for those..

The main problem with ordering (that is, not the translations themselves) HKs, though, is that sometimes, sometimes they could be picked up at customs or whatever and you won't ever get them.

Hmmm... here's some online anime stores you could check out.

Oh and you should also try eBay and see what they have there.
