hmm...i guess im just being weird...but i was thinking...since they cant get through the flam field thing why dont the ANBU just go from underneath..im sure they could break through the roof or something...either that or..why doesnt sarutobi break through the roof and get out from the bottom....

well - notice that the casters are at a slightly lower elevation that the actual battle. so i&#39;m assuming there is also a field underneath the rooftop.

otherwise ... it is also just a cartoon, or ANBU people aren&#39;t very smart.

Also, perhaps a seal justu of some sort might take down that field.

i wonder if you could do kage bunshin no jutsu right next to the flame wall, and a clone would form inside the flamewall........

Actually probably it couldn&#39;t. Coz if it DID work, kakashi would have used kage bunshin no jutsu when he was trapped inside the water field when he was caught by zabuza...

Each field thingy probaly blocks chakra.
Think of Star Trek and their shields...the shields will deflect everything except weapons that are on the same frequency as the shields are.
Frequency?
Basically only the sound 4 are capable of sending chakra through the field. Er...perhaps spirit energy frequency might be a better term?

Now you ask, why don&#39;t the Sound 4 attack from within the shield? Probaly because there too busy concentrating on keeping the field.

the reason why they dont go in there is quite simple.... 3rd is fighting orochimaru and 2 hokages in there... if an ANBU goes in there it would mean certain death to him. it would probably work to go through the roof from underneath but its not very smart since orochimaru probably would kill you in 2 seconds.

I&#39;m fairly certain chidori COULD cut through it... but the thing about the field is that it isn&#39;t hard as in solid but that it burns you when you touch it, so what you would need is a technique that protects you not be able to cut through stuff. Also if chidori were able to cut thorugh it having your arm stuck in a field wouldn&#39;t serve much
