Thread: Choose your assasin

  1. #1
Everybody views heros and villians of anime differently, so i just want to get some perspective.

If you decided that somebody had to die, and you could call on ANY anime character to get the job done.... who would you pick and why?

My choice would have to be Kenshin before he got soft. He was an unstopable man slayer. He killed, and that's all there was to it. I think he'd get the job done right.

I would choose Gatsu from Berserk... he doesnt leave any witnesses around, and he is as tough as nails...

And not so far behind, Darkness from Shadow Skill, he is unmatched and immortal

Hmm choosing one is difficult as hell ..

Gatsu could probably do the job just fine, he a pretty violent guy and all .

Orochimaru would do fine too, Gaara a little more controlled would probably rock.. And the sword crazy Jubei, the main char from spriggan could probably be a nice assassin too.. And the girly from Kite.

Jubei from Ninja Scroll, mass slaughter is his specialty.

edit: To the topic starter, that is a very original username.

    Ogami Itto from Baby cart...
    Great movie
This isn't an anime but i read it comes from a manga so...
He was an executor that has been betrayed by the Hyagyu clan that seek the job...
So he must run away, his woman killed and his child with him(hence the name)

well, if it's only one guy to kill, i guess i would take the noir team, i like they way they whack out three guys before they get to draw thier guns.

sendind Gatsu or Kenshin would be an overkill, they'll probably slaughter the whole negihberhood just to feel that they didn't waste thier time.

Currently Watching: probably a show directed at 9 years old girls, lets be honest.

Killua from Hunter X Hunter, he was born as an assasin...

    hmm ....
Orochimaru is too hard to motivate -- he's just there to have fun.
Gaara is too hard to control -- he loses himself to whatever lives inside of him, making him unreliable.
Kenshin "went soft" so he'd probably be bad.
Killua was born an assassin but I don't think would kill without a good reason anymore.
Jiraya would rather see more ero than waste his time killing some random stranger.
gattsu is too busy with his own vendettas and his quest to find a way to live, so I doubt he'd take the job.
Jubei does specialize in mass slaughter, but he's got a noble/honorable aspect to him that makes him not a coldblooded killer -- your target would have to attack him or someone he cares about enough to save.
And then there's the dbz crew ... they're not exactly stealthy. "kill this person" doesn't require "blow up the world" -- on top of that, the bad guys are mostly all dead, and the good guys are mostly not coldblooded killers anymore.

I think I'd have to go with either Alucard from Hellsing (combination of insanity, lack of regard for most humans, stealthy sink-into-the-floor powers, and the whole immortal vampire lord thing), or maybe Kyo from sdk (also crazy, also uber-powerful, not immortal but might as well be). Kyo is a guy who has no regard for life, and is ultra-skilled and ultra-powerful. I think he'd work just fine.

you think too much into it, you don't need someone to do flashy moves or fight with a godlike being and a mass army of henchmen, you just need someone to pull the triger\stick the dagger and get the job done with. for those things, i would choose the NOIR team over anyone else, they are proffesionals assaisans that know to get the job done and have a semi-reasonable price (not like hiring Killua, who'd be pretty bored if you tell him you called a zodiac assaisn just to get rid of you're boss, cuz well, killua could make more money by publishing photos of himself...).

Alucard is a nice choice, it's just that i don't want to get too close to him, i have a thing against people who bite other people...

Wolfwood can also be appropiate, but he might choose to save some kids and then there'll be witnesess.

It's not about the price, it's about the quality. KILL-U-a would rip your heart out before you knew what happened. His cold eyes really fit an assasin.

I think Jumpei from Megatokyo would be an excellent assasin, with his rent-a-zill ;p

first off... sorry 'bout the name, Villin. complete coincidence (but i don't think we pronounce them the same )

second, i agree with the fact that early Kenshin would be overkill, but i think that's a good thing. i mean, you could unleash him on a city and tell him to kill this one guy, and he would slaughter the entire city just to make sure his target was dead. i like that kind of dedication
