Actually two episodes... but who's counting?
Actually two episodes... but who's counting?
But one char they didn't show much of and who now seems pointless even having in the anime is Cowboy-dono... I mean, where does he come in the story now? Pisses me off i tell ya.
he died? i thought that the other faggot was the only one that died.... this anime is strange they just keep bringing in characters and finish them of in an instant.. if they didnt have all the humour in the begining it could have been a great series, now its down to good.Originally posted by: itachi_
The Okita look-alike was killed... that was rather strange though, he came in one episode and died in the same, he was unneccesarily
The series could have began at the ikeyada and end in 1868, like boshin wars, more wars against the imperalists, not like this, end at the ikeyada
yea that would be good.
as a sidenote, i saw that movie "the last sword is drawn" it was quite good, entertaining-wise and info-wise but in production skills it wasnt that good. it could have been alot better.
You learn alot from it atleast I do, And it's interesting... What do you mean "quite good", it kicked ass, if you're as obsessed with shinsengumi as I am ;P seriously it was very good.
nah it wasnt very good but it was good. if it was better made it could have been awesome.
Better made?, what was less good about it, I think that the actors were very look-alike to the real persons.. the costumes and the area where it was filmed was extremly good... music also.
yea it was great in those aspects but it was a little to confusing who the main character was. and the had 2 very emotional and possbile endings. 1. when yoshimura was running towards the soldiers 2. when he commited seppuku. and there were to much chit-chat between yoshimura and himself before he commited seppuku. it was bad to waste those moments like that. and some other small things but i dont have the time to write them.
Well I have read about this that the so called emperor archieved the power of Japan in 1868, Meiji Restoration, but what's the difference between a Shogun (Warlord) and a emperor both are like fidel castro, one man one power..? can anyone explain a lil' bit further..
I feel really strong about this movie, I always start to cry at the end, it's unbelieveable, I don't usually cry of movies but in this case it's special.
I saw a cool movie recently about shinsengumi. It was called Mibu gishi den. I recommend it. good movie.
That's the movie we've been talking about, doh!, mibu gishi den aka when the last sword is drawn.

I believe the emperor is a spiritual leader as well. TThus during teh shogunate he didn't have his political powers but remained as the spiritual leader. kinda like the pope.
The shogun was simply a dictator.
okey the lunar sub of 24 has been out since thursday anyone seen it?
No, this time I've decided to wait for AonE release just because it's the last episode, sigh, all the quality checkers are on vacation in AonE, bwah...
Lunar's sub is pretty good. Though I'm also waiting for AonE to finish my collection
Just watch it, its a good ending
Yeah i've seen it. The ending sucks.
It was an okey ending not great but this anime was pretty damn good overall even if it was too short for my taste.
I read something about a movie on PMK is it true?
Where did you read it though?
And for those of you that have read the manga... is it completed or still being worked on? How far did the anime go in the manga?
Maybe with some of those questions aswered we will be able to make appropiate speculations
I saw in that manga is in progress cause there have been 5 vol or 4 vol until now.
Here a link to animenetwork.com where you can see that their talking about a PMK movie. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/article.php?id=3995
