RE: PMK
Did you know that The real Okita died of tuberculosis in 1864,,, you've already seen that he's coughing blood, he'll die soon, because it's already 1864... and it's reasonable that they will follow the history..

I found a cool site with some discriptions of the squad leaders.
here
Also on the homepage there is a discription of the guy kenshin was modeled after.
Edit: Oh yeah, they also talk about the Ryoma guy in PMK
Edit again: Kinda off topic but I recently read that genki made a shinsengumi game for ps2. I think its out in japan right now.

Agreed...but...
Tetsu is a pussy he don't deserve to be in PMK, let's watch more of Okita, Sanosuke, Kondo, Saitou, Hijikata, it's those who bring the life out of PMK... tetsu ruin everything acting like a freaking queer.

It sure can, in episode 01 there is a flashback of episode 22 which means that it's about to end there, it will end in episode 24 no doubt, when Tetsu get that girl, saya? and have finally become a member of the shinsengumi, but we haven't really got an answer to that guy said something about "peacemaker".

RE: PMK
If it's going to end within two episodes then there's either going to have to be a huge amount of info crammed in a very short space, or lots of questions will be left unanswered.

Itachi you are pretty good with japanese history it seems. When did the revolution begin and end. The name of the emporer then?

Er?? what revolution?
The tokugawa family became shoguns in 1604, four years after the battle of Seikigahara, and they ruled until 1868, when a young man called Meiji was choosen to become Japan's new emperor..
And between 1864 and 1868 there was a some wars, one of them called the boshin wars etc, Shinsengumi was choosed to protect the shogun in Kyoto, that was their purpose, but shinsengumi was founded in 1863, and ended in 1868. Right after the battle at Ikedaya all went down for shinsengumi, with the politics etc, the chooshu had began moving and in that time, the last days(more like years) of the edo-era (1604-1868) was called bakumatsu.
well buy/download a movie called "When the last sword is drawn" (don't know the japanese title) then you'll get alot of facts, and it's a great movie also.
