I am thinking that might just be a smokescreen for some operations that are going on in and around Sound Country.

Maybe they are out seeking intellegence before they launch a counter-attack.

Remember, the Sand signed a treaty with the leaf, the Sound is still an enemy.

I have a feeling that the Sand might even assist Konoha, since Orochimaru killed the Kazekage and manipulated the entire country.

Its not because of reputation,its because of logic.Obviously if he stayed,more back up would come,meaning that they would cause commontion and be outnumbered.Which means they would risk exposing all of there missions plans.Remember before when they were talking about how the secret of the mission was more important than life itself.Just look at that one guys head with all the scars and drill marks from torture.

yeah, i'm a Itachi fan, but i'm not sucking his dick when i say that he's the strongest so far and retreating is unnecessary for him. i'm just stating the facts. itachi can whoop anyone's ass, including: orochimaru (yeah, he has immortality jutsu, but big deal, he can't use it if he's killed), jiraiya, tsunade, and even KYUBI NARUTO. wow, i hate everyone. people just don't get it.

there are some things I dont get actually, ok here's the thing.
It's been said that Kakashi, Sasuke, Neji and Itachi are geniuses(well mayb Itachi wasnt, but it sure looks like

)
Anywayz Sasuke is suppose to be more talented than Itachi, but he isn't nearly as strong as Itachi was in his age back then, so whats the deal here? could it be the way they got trained?
And about Kakashi, he got to chuunin at the age of 6 man, when did he stop getting better? cause he should be alot more powerfull by now then right? :s

the only person who said Sasuke had more potential than Itachi was Orochimaru, and we all know he isn't always telling the truth when it concerns Sasuke...

Itachi and Kakashi are obvious genisus, they both got to the chunin rank while others in thier age were still in the academy. Neji is also a genious, seeing how he mastered the hakke 64 and the kaiten spin...

Sasuke is just the talented guy of the class, but nowhere close to the genious Sakura and Ino make out of him.

About my latest Itachi comments: i didn't say he isn't strong, i just wanted to state that even he isn't able to walk into the leaf village and kill everyone without sweating, which some of the forum members seem to believe he can. and about the speed comment, i wrote 'I believe' at the begining of that sentence, it's just a speculation...

Interesting "facts" there, dazzz. Itachi is strong, admittedly, but to be able to beat Orochimaru, Tsunade, and Jiraiya is saying a lot isn't it? Kyuubi Naruto still isn't as strong as the legendary three yet, obviously, I think.

Question: I always thought Kenshin was faster than Hiko...just Hiko was so much physically stronger and extremely fast in his own right, as well as trained in the Hiten Mitsurigi Style for most of his life rather than getting involved in a war and having his training scattered throughout his life. Wasn't that why he was so amazing? His muscle mass and speed coupled caused him to be more dangerous than Kenshin...

Chouji's pill was something that came out of nowhere and made no sense so it's not impossible for any of the other Genin to win either.

Also, I'm thinking Shikamaru will use his shadow to control one or more of the summoned monsters to hit each other and/or Tayuya.

Hatake Kakashi, good theory... about what's going to happen in the next chapters.
Itachi Uchiha is godlike, FACT, non can beat mange-sharingan, maybe if they find a hidden scroll from ancient times that describe how to counter it ^^. I see itachi most like a genjutsu user, it's impossible to beat him in genjutsu (illusionary) and his speed is like Hiko's speed in RK, (just to compare with other anime)

i meant itachi can beat any one of them, not all of them at once.

I know you meant individually...which is why I listed them individually and did not add "together." Where in the manga does it say he can beat them one on one? If you can present the evidence, I will stop arguing.

I think I know what Tayuya summoned... I think they are Golems. Or something like them. I have heard of something called a Golem's Flute that is used to control them, so I can kind of put two and two together. Golem's are Rock Giants and appear in various Role Play Games.

*cough* Dragon Warrior.Anyone remember that game? It had a flute which you needed to control a golem that blocked the village.
