Yeah Kiba seems to have the toughest opponent. I was always hoping Neji would end up fighting Sakon for this very reason...
As for Naruto vs Kimimaro. There really is a 50-50 chance of either one winning. Perhaps next chapter Kimimaro will immediatelly activate the Gaia seal on his chest and go Level 2. Then we will have an idea about what kind of power that thing has.
good chapter set things up for the coming chapters i like those chaptersi hope the nauto - kimimaro fight will be awesome. last time we got an awesome fight was when chouji fought jirubou, the reason why i think like that is because chouji always appears like a bum that cant do anything and then he beats the crap about the strongest(powerwise) of the sound four. he almost dies doing it but he did it.
I just looked at that last page again and thought how much of a pain in the ass it must have been for Kishimoto to draw all of those Naruto's. On top of that he had to draw the rest of the pages.
I suppose he could have had assistants do some of the Naruto's, but still..
If I was Naruto I would have started out by summoning a Frog, but he can't control how much he puts out now, so he would probably get Gamabunta. A medium size frog, like the one Jiraiya used in the hallway against Itachi could probably provide some good support. Once Gamakichi and his brother get to be that size, I think they will make some hilarious guest appearances.
maybe all the clones will summon frogs, itll be a frog army and a naruto army vs kimi, itd be game ova.
and as for this being the best fight since chouji, i disagree the chouji fight was cool, but maybe im biased in saying the neji fight was the best one the series had since gaara vs naruto, as far as a pure 1v1 at least. the stuff with the legendary 3 was nuts and cool, but those werent 1v1.

I think they are pretty much tied for power, because orochimarus fighting style is all about jutsus. In Oros opinion, the more jutsus a ninja has, the stronger he is. That's why Itachi will just copy all his jutsus and beat him. Jiraiya on the other hand doesn't rely on all jutsus, so he has prob a better chance of beating itachi then oro does. We could just wait till the manga shows us who's stronger in an actual battle, but that'll be too long to wait.
Oh man that was an intense chapter. AH i can't wait a week until the next chapter comes out. Hmmm i wonder what kind of Bloodline kimimaro has. Maybe something like Sharingan and Byuuaken joined together??? Sharingan+Byuuaken= One strong bloodline
Kimimaro has no bloodline at all.
Oro or Kabuto talks about that. That Sasuke has a body as fitting as Kimimaro, an equal strong curse seal and on top of that a bloodline ability.

Orochimaru has a whole village of people under his control and infinate potential as he can keep swapping bodies, in my opinion that makes him far stronger then Itachi even without fighting him.
for those that say 'oh Itachi can just get Atasuki to help him' Atasuki are all volunteers, they dont have to help out people in the organisation in their own affairs

Here is what I hope is going to happen with the while Kimimaro-Naruto fight.
Naruto's Bunshins rush at Kimimaro, but he is going to pull a combination of Zabuza's counters (brute force) and Taijutsu like Sasuke's.
Naruto will decide that one on one is his best chance for victory. He charges up a Rasengan at Kimimaro, but Kimi counters it with his sword palm technique and pierces Naruto through the shoulder.
Kimimaro asks Naruto why he cares so much about Sasuke.
Naruto starts explaining how Sasuke is rival, but also his friend. He says that he knows Sasuke thinks he's doing the right thing, trying to avenge his clan, but right now he is only dishonoring them, and will eventually shed cold blood in there names. That is something the Uchiha Clan wouldn't want.
Inside the barrel Sasuke can hear what Naruto says and awakens from his death state without the assistance of Orochimaru. He does this not through evil methods, but by the power of friendship. He pops out of the barrel and stands behind Kimimaro.
He stares down Kimimaro with a fully developed Sharingan (3 in each eye), while the enraged Naruto's wound heals very quickly thanks to the Kyubi.
Don't jump all over me about that not advancing the story and stuff. I don't give a shit. Right now I believe there is a 50-50 chance of Sasuke going to Sound.
THAT is what I wish would happen. Although not as fast and with cool pictures and good dialogue.
for Sasuke to take Naruto in friendship over Itachi in hatred is a huge leap.
it changes the way Sasukes character is completey and personally i dont think he cares if Naruto lives or dies as long as he gets to kill Itachi.
if Sasuke had the choice of killing Naruto to kill Itachi he would.

Naruto would talk him out of it. Sasuke is about to walk the same path as Shinomori Aoshi did in Rurouni Kenshin.
In Kenshin, Aoshi wishes to avenge his Oniwbanshu friends, by attainting the title of the strongest warrior in Japan. He turned to evil and it took Kenshin to bring him back. Kenshin told him that he was not honoring his clan, he was shedding blood in there name. I think a similar situation will happen in Naruto with Sasuke and Naruto.
As Neji said, Naruto has the power to bring people back from the darkness.

we know that Tayuya and Sakon are the strongest of the 4 so the next two battles are going to be good, as for Shikamaru breaking Tayuyas neck - it wont happen, Shikamaru just isnt the killing type.

although Orochimaru would have gladly been in Kimimaros body before Sasukes, it was only after Kimimaro fell sick that Orochimaru went looking
Sasukes is ideal because of the sharigan - can copy jutsus easily

The fight in the library in the RK anime was superbly drawn, btw. Great style. Too bad it was all talking, and barely any fighting.
Aoshi > Sasuke.
And, I don't think Sasuke will become good. There's so much freaking hype behind this lvl 2 seal and his seaking Oro's power, that if he does, by chance, become good (again), fans will feel completely ripped off. I don't know about any of you, but I did not just read 20 plus chapters of this sound crap, just so everything can turn out ok through some damn pep talk.
Isn't it obvious how Skikamaru will win his fight?

Anyway, those 3 summons seems to be more of the "BIG AND POWERFUL,BUT SLOW KIND OF SUMMONS". There is always those kind of people/monsters etc.
When they make them big, they are usually physically slow or just slowminded.
If that is the case, then Shikimaru wont have a hard time binding them with his Shadow Jutsu, and somehow make them fight eachother or fighting Tatyua? (don't remember her name).
I have yet no idea of how powerful she herself is in Level 2, so that would be very nice to see.
There are also one more thing to consider, that is how long Shikimaru will have the "will" or strenght to carry on the fight. I just don't see him fighting for a very long time against Level 2 Tatyua?
Maybe the Konoha reinforcements could show up, and all of them will decide that they should just push on towards the Sound Country and invade them.
Their numbers are a lot smaller than Konha. I bet they only have 150 people in Sound Country at the most.
All of them so far besides The Sound 5, Oro, and Kabuto have proven to be subpar. Even the original Sound Trio wasn't that impressive.

Kabuto never attempted to kill Sasuke, Oro suggested that if he wanted to stop him he'd have to kill Sasuke - as a joke.
Kabuto took out his knife and then threw it at Kakashi, never planned to kill Sasuke.
as for Tayuya, i cant see Shikamaru actually winning - he might end up giving up or getting them both into a situation where they cant go to help Kimimaro or Naruto

He didn't order Kabuto to kill Sasuke, it was something like "You are about as powerfull as Kakashi, but still not strong enough to beat me. If you want to stop me you have to kill Sasuke."
I can't totally remember those lines since it's a while ago, but I'm confident that Kabuto wasn't ordered to kill Sasuke.
