I just finished watching it and I got to say that it was totally awesome. I'll be drooling in anticipation for the sub.

It ends when Sakura is about to cancel the genjutsu on Naruto and the faking Shikamaru.
After.So we don't get to see the Orochimaru vs Hokage fight start?
no, they haven't started yet, mainly because they seem to have thrown in a few extra things into this episode that we didn't see in the manga.
The action is v.good, and I only had one complaint about the art work in this ep. The bit where you see Gara and his team... Gara is so badly drawn! i mean really badly, looks like a monkey dressed up to look like Gara or something

They must have because if they went by the manga, the kids should have woke up 10 minutes into it, not at the end.

How far is that away though? Bloody ages. I'd estimate about July or August, if not longer.
Especially if you consider how much they're gonna drag out Naruto vs. Gaara.

Doesn't look like a filler episode, looks like they followed the manga pretty well (Although, I dont know Japanese, so,Also, I do agree, Gaara was a bit messed up, I was glad when Kankuro stepped in front of him,
Looks more of an explaination episode then a filler,

This series doesn't really have filler eps IMHO. If there's no action, there's explanation or story development instead. If someone wants to say examples of pure obvious filler then be my guest, but I can't think of any.
Actually.... the one example I can think of is Konohamaru leading Naruto on a 'shortcut' to the stadium then the bull chase....

nope, sorry, im not on the itachi bandwagon
it's a bit far away but i'm looking foreward to seeing the animated look of ph33r on sasgay's face after he sees how much damage the rasengan did to the watertank
not to mention the look on all the anime sasgay fanboys

And to think it started all here.Its been a long fight,lots of conversions,changing character beliefs,setting the best theories.But through the long run we have established a large fanbase that was almost non-existend pre-September.In 5 months we have started trend...all of you Itachi fans have made me proud...*cries*
Alright,enough of that,a little offtopic.
Itachi's appearance is not all that far off. He comes in around chapter 140 of the manga which is slightly after the Gaara/Naruto battle. And of course since the anime from now til then is based on the best parts of the manga the time will fly.
