Actully I rather not listen to puff some songs just get you. I hear guitar and drum solo ever time I play the Roots.

i listen to rock and metal to get me motivated, especially thrashy metal
but i also like mixing (DJ coldcut, DJ shadow, Haujobb etc) for background music and chilling music.

i love you. dj shadow is the best thing since steam engine.
trashy metal? like.. kyuss?
but yeah, there's a lotta stupid rock and metal too.. i got two words for you: limp bizkit. you could add linkin park, evanesence (uh.. basically linkin park with chick vocals, no?), good charlotte (jesus christ), etc. it's hard to find good music nowadays, i wish i lived in the 70's (but then i couldn't listen to cd's ).
